He spoke as a Catholic to Catholics at a Catholic school about the Catholic faith. I don't think most disagree with him anyway. Do a reaction to the full speech at Benedictne College.
He was speaking about the CHRISTIAN faith actually. I never heard him do a Hail Mary or offer confession. So, yes…the Christian faith, something Christians and most Catholics agree.

Exactly! He is making comments that reflect Catholic teaching and philosophy. That belief is why people send their children to Benedictine. They love him at Benedictine. The only people with issues, are anti Christian haters.
I have one child, a son. I am 64 now and he is 40. I am forever grateful that i was able to stay home and raise him. The most important thing that i had to do in my entire life. I had dinner on the table every night when my husband came home from work. Why shouldn't I? I was home all day while he was working to support us! Has nothing to do with being submissive or anything like that! Just common decency! Im sorry but raising children is what God intended women to do. Im not saying that it is what every woman should feel like that. All im saying is I will be forever grateful that God gave me the ability and privilege to do with my life. I totally agree with what he was saying to the graduates. Love you guys.✌️❤️
Same here my mom was a stay at home mom and so was I. And I done the same thing as you as far as having dinner on the table when my husband got home from work. Being a mom of three and being to my one husband all of my life. Those are two of the proudest and best titles I could ever have. And now I have another title besides wife and momma but I now I have the title of granny and it's the best ever!!!

I have had many roles in my 62 years and being a wife (35 years) and a mother have been my most rewarding and fulfilling. I had to work until a few years ago and I now am happily retired taking care of my sweet grandkids. It’s the best time of my life. God first and then family.
As many of said here, he was at a catholic school with his belief. This blew up on tik tok with woman thinking their place was being married and having children. Which is NOT what this was or about. This is their religion. The world is messed up and has been.

Entirely consistent with my own Catholic upbringing, let the rainbow warrior peanut gallery be upset, their behavior is sinful according to our beliefs, doesn't mean we're hostile to them but it does mean we don't see such behaviors as examples to follow.

This is a catholic man at a catholic college speaking to catholic students. They gave him two standing ovations. A lot of people where in agreement. It is too bad that many people are afraid to speak out for fear of losing their jobs, friends and possibly their lives.

The people who find it controversial and offensive are people listening to it for whom it was not intended. It is a Catholic Commencement Speech given at a Catholic School by an openly devoted Catholic! The people there were in complete agreement with the speech. Those with an opposing disposition need to realize the speech wasn't for them, and if they had any decency, they wouldn't stick their noses where they don't belong.

i love all your vids you two. i told coworker years ago we are headed toward bad times. because of the decline of faith and religion here in the usa. religion and god whether you believe or not for a thousand plus years have kept society in check in general. religion has been a structure and framework that at its best keeps those in our society that cant be moral in and of their own accord and keeps them on the straight and narrow. religion and the belief in god or a higher power has done this for 2000 years. without that structure and framework society will go downhill. i said this to my friend years ago.. its starting to come to pass
Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion, they are your fundamental 1st amendment protections. Speaking them loud and proud, unlike that month, are your obligation to your faith. Promoting family over career without denouncing a career option shouldn't ruffle any feathers. Those who's panties get bunched are who you need to be wary about, they want your freedoms removed.

You should actually react to the whole speech. He was/is talking to a Catholic School and he was talking his faith. Sadly even at a Catholic school, there are few people/students that don’t agree with the teachings of The Church. I say, if you are not practicing and do not have same beliefs, maybe go to another school 🤷🏻♀️ they shouldn’t get mad. Like if I went to a Muslim School, I should respect their beliefs (maybe I don’t agree) but then don’t get mad when they practice or speak what they practice. Idk 🤷🏻♀️ it just gets me at times
I’m gay and I also agree with him. At the very least I support his right to speak his heart and mind and I don’t approve with where we (the American people) find ourselves as far as the silencing of people in the name of … sigh. And , by believing what I do , I essentially state that there is no place for me in this world. That’s MY truth and THE truth. And it’s lonely as hell.
Are u a believer in Jesus Christ as ur saviour? Do u believe He died for ur sins and rose from the grave? Do u believe that's the ultimate price God paid for u to know His love? So that those that believe will have eternal life with Him.
You can, and should, love someone as a child of God whether you approve of their lifestyle or not. I believe he does, as do most observant Christians. My daughter is an atheist. I will not affirm that belief or approve of it, but I love her dearly and she is a part of my life.
It is a myth that one has to approve of everything a person does to be "tolerant". Real tolerance is living peaceably with people you disagree with.

Jai, you’re the first woman , that I’ve seen, who actually understands a woman’s role in the home, and in a marriage. There’s nothing wrong with women catering to their husbands. It doesn’t mean we are slaves to them. It means we honor them, love them, and respect them enough to understand that they have worked very hard to provide for their families, and this is a woman’s way of showing him gratitude for it. Cleaning house, cooking a meal, running the errands, taking care of the children, keeping the household running. There’s nothing wrong with these things. These things are honors for a woman to do for her family and her husband. There is nothing wrong with that. There’s nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be a wife and a mother and nothing else! That is an honor! That is what God wants us to do, and anytime you CAN fulfill God‘s request, or commands, it’s an honor! The world has gotten so far away from God and Bible scripture, that bible scripture is being fulfilled in that, scripture says, all that is good will be bad, and all that is bad will be good. That is in the Bible y’all. How many times have you heard people saying that in the media, on RUclips, anywhere there is some type of news outlet or information flow. We are in the end days y’all….

Though it is a Benedictine college, they are not the old style Benedictines of his imagination. Even the nuns there, said "Ah, no. I don't think so". He'd have more luck at a Taliban graduation in Afghanistan. FYI the former president Barack Obama, worked for the Catholic Diocese in Chicago, and his office was in a Catholic church surrounded by Jesuits. Catholic is not homogenous. We rejected the Spanish Inquisition, for example. Trump's only dealings with a Church was attending the Norman Vincent Peale church in New York. Very anti-Catholic.
