  • In this video you will see the newly paved section of Old Mine Rd In Delaware Water Gap. It is a fantastic slow drive with great fall views and old buildings.
Last winter, I have was able to install a 1500cc engine over my old 1200, and I have been enjoying the car immensely. It has an aftermarket exhaust on it from Dansk, which I got from CIP1. I still have my stock heater boxes and I have switched to an EMPI 30 pict 1 clone until I can send my Solex off to Volksblitz.
I hope you all enjoy the sights, sounds, creaks and bumps of driving a vintage lowered bug through the country.

Fantastic. Brings back so many happy memories. This exact car (1966 in RHD and even the same colour) was my first after passing my test here in the UK. 6v battery system using a dynamo so the lights dimmed when at traffic lights or junctions. I'd swap my Jag for it in a second if I could have it back.

One of only a few vehicles that not only do you feel the road you hear it also.
