Man, your camera work with these tiny creatures is insane. Love seeing your builds and the ecosystems you create. Looking forward to whatever comes next!
I am someone who gets super squeamish over bugs but oh boy, I could watch your videos all day! You put so much care into the ecosystems you create and it’s obvious that the creatures you house are important to you, not just a hobby or experiment. Keep up the good work! Can’t wait to see your future projects!
when i lived in texas id find them all over my trailer. i lived in the middle of nowhere in palestine. they were my favorite to see around. they eat bugs and stick to the walls. idk how anyone could see them and think they are pests.
Very professionally done. Editing is 🔥 plus seeing all these critters in the habitats you’ve built and explaining all the work you did is informative 💯
Those geckos are insanely adorable --Mayhaps you could raise an army of them-- I've got a little friend of my own with me right now, she's a brown anole I found outside, she's sitting on my arm :)
Fun fact, on the island of Kauai day geckos were multiplying out of control and were a pest to homeowners as there excrement would build up everywhere and was very hard to remove once dried. By chance the Madagascar gecko got introduced through a shipment to a nursery or something but years later they established themselves, now both geckos live on the island but day geckos can't multiply as fast and don't get to dominate the high regions of homes anymore as the larger Madagascar geckos run that turf.
A lot of national geographics videos are actually shot in large enclosures that attempt to emulate the natural environment, they often don't say it outright in their documentaries but that's the case with a lot of nature documentaries
You are good at narrating and editing videos. 👍❤️ They are beautiful gecko's. I am glad you are taking good care of them. It's a big responsibility. I too use to have lots of pets, reptiles and birds as well as farm animals. My mom and I kept spiders too. We loved them. My family are farmers and ranchers. I was taught how to live off the land and be a native American as well as a British Scottish. My father is native American and African and my mother was Asian and Scottish British. I am proud of my mixed cultures. Animals have been a big part of my life because I was raised in a mixed cultured family. Also, we have the same gecko's in the wild in my area. They sometimes come inside and I have to rescue them and release them somewhere safe. They are very quick and eat bugs. I catch bugs and cut them up, make them into a mooch to feed to the geckos before I release them on a tree in the front of my apartment. It's a perfect spot for them. I love how tiny they are but they are capable of surviving in the wild. ☺️❤️ There's been several gecko's that didn't want to leave me but I setup a trail of bug goo and they weren't aware I left. I don't want to take wildlife out of the wild. I can find a gecko breeder if I want to have them as pets. I will keep rescuing them as long as I am capable. 👍 I respect the earth and what it provides. ❤️ We only have one Earth and one lifetime.
They’re very cute! And I’m glad to see them happy in their new home 😊 it’s also super neat to see them clone themselves 😮 this is my first time seeing something like that! Also I hope you’re doing well! Have fun and rest plenty!
Your channel is one of the very few that I have notifications turned on for. These are beautiful. The cinematography and colors alone are gorgeous. Excellent work. Can't wait to see more.
This dude makes life unforced, battles against other animals unforced and makes it fair for every animal unlike some animal ytbers who put tarantulas and snakes in the same tank just to fight this dude wants them to be happy and living together You’re a fucking legend and I can’t wait for more of your projects
You can’t call him a dude his preferred pronouns might be female. Also they have to stop calling their Gekos females cause they may prefer being called male.
happy to see how much you are growing Dr. I fell into a paludarium youtube hole a while back but this is one of the channels I still consistently look forward to for new videos. Fantastic projects and love to hear your genuine passion for your animals.
I started with a pair of mourning geckos in a 15gal vivarium about three years ago. For the first 2.5 years, the babies never survived more than a month. However, since adding some dense-coverage plants, I've had at least one juvenile get too big for the adults to cannibalize. In my experience, then, the geckos control their own population per conditions in the enclosure.
OMG the geckos are so tiny! It didn't really sink in until I saw them crunch down the fruitflies and saw that they have one fly for multiple bites. And is it just me or are their tongues basically translucent? They are such a fascinating animals, thanks for the footage of them using their suction cup feet and moving on the water surface. Just awesome! If they keep breeding on this rate, you could start a bussiness selling them (only to good homes of course).
I love that you are so caring for your animal friends, I love that you made sure that the baby geckos are safe and big enough to you bigger rainforest terrarium!
Your vids truly bring me joy! So happy I stumbled upon your page. With so much tough content out there it’s nice to see such a genuine page. Keep it up!

Just found this channel and I am soooooo inspired to create something like this myself! Need to do a bit of reading first and this has really been very interesting and useful content! Thank you so much! 👍😀
You know, you could use this as a reproduction facility for the geckoes, keep like 1 or 2 female geckoes in there with a male and monitor them as they lay eggs and stuff, when the eggs hatch, let the geckoes develop and then use them for whatever purpose required, or just put the eggs in there and do the above-mentioned stuff, would be a cool way to use it 👍
why would he need a male when they reproduce asexually? this isn't weird for lizards, several species do it. Some species no longer have males at all, only females.
It's always great hearing your voice and it's so educational about animals and nature which I love hope more of your projects are successful and hope you have a good Christmas really hope this comment made your day and others 😊
WOW. This is the fastest I've ever seen a channel grow. My gosh. I was here from your second video and now you're almost at a million subs. Congrats! Did you come from a different channel? Your filming and editing is great to.
I just wanna say, your videos are mind blowing and seeing that you can do all this cool stuff with nature is so amazing! I really like your content and I will stay subscribed for a long time! keep up the amazing work you really inspire me :)
what I’m assuming to be an easy way to keep the original jungle ecosystem without too many geckos but not have them diminish slowly is if you leave one or two eggs out of however many gecko eggs are laid every time the geckos repopulate and move the other eggs before they hatch to this new ecosystem
It was a bit of time since I last saw how the whole ecosystem was doing! I'm happy that it's going so well! The geckos are incredible animals, worth to get their own tank!
Just to be clear, this is a temporary home for the baby geckos. I want to carefully monitor their health until they get a little bigger!
Can u get a frog for your ecosystem? edit: white’s tree frogs are easy to have. I have one. Or you could do a fire bellied toad.
