    What fun I’m having watching all these Joyce Grenfell sketches. Thank you for posting them. I’m sure that you’re bringing lots of pleasant memories to lots of people, and lots of joy to those who have just discovered this wonderful lady.

      You are so right. I always loved Joyce. It's a delight to be able to see her again. I just can't find one of my favourites, Cocktail Party.

    The way she changes her mouth and pulls faces from 1:07 is spot on. I knew a lady who went to boarding school and said words like ‘frightful’ and this is basically her.

    It is many years since I saw the Lumpy Latimer sketch and watching it again tonight I thought how much the character resembled Sarah, Duchess of York

    Joyce was extraordinary. But it's such a shame you can't watch anything pre-2000 on RUclips without every other comment being a boomer who chose to stay behind and thinks that means they were left behind, whining and crying about everything new.
