Were those power flashes in the center of picture around 13:27? I’m watching on a 55” screen and the white flashes are kinda small but definitely there.
Right at about 29:26-29:30 when it appears out of nowhere, that is truly astounding. Looks very eerie and calm, and then, it's just there. And it doesn't grow in size, it's just there, in its biggest form. The only other footage from 2024 that I've seen so far that I can compare to this is the tornado in Iowa that destroyed all the wind turbines. Awesome and awfully terrifying. Very very good shot!
Was these guys in tornado heaven or what!! Mesmerizing and beautiful stove top tornado. Loved this video! Glad you know to be safe, not crazy!!! Thankyou!!! I sure hope this didn’t hit anyone or thing!
The development around 29:35 was incredibly fast. With you guys being meteorologists... Do these tornadoes always travel in a north east direction? Ever move south west?

Guys..so refreshing to see y’all again Really enjoy your style of storm chasing Watched y’all way back when you were associated with twc… Glad to see y’all are still chasing… You got pretty close to my hometown of San Angelo tx this year!
Dude this was so badass. It almost reminded me of a symbiote while it was trying to form around 20-21 minutes. It was like Venom or Carnage infected that storm cloud and took control of it to form a devastating tornado. This is one of the best tornado videos I've ever seen.
I am so thankful to live where I live , yeah it can get cold up here but I’ll put up with the cold any day before I choose to live in constant fear of being blown up by a tornado, at least in the cold with all the snow you can have fun in the mountains
I am 62. Grew up in and around Altus, was a teenager with a pickup in the 70's. I did a mental count when I turned 21 and realized, over the course of my life, I had seen ..21..tornadoes on the ground. There were no "chasers" back then, other than us. In about 77? 78? me and my buddy were sitting around my house trying to watch Star Trek re runs in the afternoon. Problem was, Gary England and his weather brethren kept busting on about a tornado sw of Hollis or Duke heading E/NE. They did not have any "chasers" or choppers. Just radar. So, we go jump in my truck (as we usually did, it was literally the greatest show on earh) and head west on 62. Saw the first, perfect white tornado on the ground about 15 miles out of Altus. The whole complex was laid out in front of us plain as the day. All we had to do was, head toward the storm, which was moving sw/ne...as most of them do. Hang a left when we got too close. Hang another left and head east. Rinse and repeat all afternoon. If we had a video camera, it would have taped tornadoes for 5 consecutive hours. Ended up following 8 separate tornadoes that day. Including one set of twins for about 20 miles north of Altus. One that moves some C-5's around on the base. Buddy spotted what he thought might be just a salt lick out in a field while we are chasing "the twins". I jump out and pick it up. It was not a salt lick it was hail. Lasted in my freezer for a couple of months before my mom threw it out for taking up too much room. TL:DR: If you hear any report of instability west of Hollis in May, and you want to see some tornadoes. Just point your truck west and drive.
It'd be cool if you could include a compass heading on your video so we could see the direction of travel and/or that of the tornado. Great footage. Stay safe.

I really like these videos. They are not yelling and screaming at each other. They stay calm and play it smart!
Yeah they also aren’t in the tornado either lol makes for staying calm a tad bit easier. They did a great job.
