I m from Karachi Pakistan and I love shalgham Gosht in winter and I always buy shalgham with 🌿 Ranveer absolutely right that adding Patta enhance this unforgettable dish taste.
Our winters are incomplete without this dish, and pumpkin chicken (shab degh). We use dried shalgum and dried bottle guard as well. Always love your recipes.

I have been waiting for this recipe since I saw your shalgam bharta. I have a friend who is from Saharanpur. His family's traditional recipe uses a little soya patta and a handful of methi alongwith a handful of palak. That tastes amazing too.

Chef .... In Bangladesh its a delicious food . we used beef normally. We used simple and lite mosla to cook it. Like just for gosht mosla . Shalgom just fry on oil and put in gosht. Its flavour just awesome ❤️ Thankyou for this new recipe . I will must try .
Bhai Sahab ...tussee Chaa gaye ho ... We are Kashmiri abd we eat this as well . We ate it last night and as we Kashmiries stayed in Punjab for 80 years before partition many punjabis. Also love this this ..and yes we also call it Shab degh . Only difference is that according to real recipe we put gurh /jaggery as well. Now days we are using simple sugar. The flavours of gaminess of mutton or lamp with bitterness of turnips along with salt and sugar is the special 'monopoly' of this recipe .Still i loved it you are keeping our heritage alive . Also i did enjoyed your Rogan Josh recipe.

This dish is in my childhood memories. This is my all time favorite . But now days my childrens not like theses authentic recipes, they even don't think about it, so many times I never cook for only myself but miss it very much.
Day before yesterday my dadi was telling me about Shalgam ghost...that she used to eat when she was a kid...and I was thinking that what a bored combination it would be , mutton and shalgam...but today I watched this video with my grandmother...she was gone back to her old days and hugged me emotionally after watching ❤️❤️ Thanks alot Ranveer sir ❤️❤️...Such dishes uncovers old cultures and feeling of mixed emotions of our previous generations❤️

My husband grew up with Shahganj gosht, dal gosht, Bhindi gosht so it’s wonderful to see this recipe here. It’s now our winter seasonal favourite which we make with our home grown organic Shahgam
Tried it a few times when I used to live in Patel Nagar, Delhi. There was a locality nearby named Shadipur and around the local mosque there was a whole street filled with non veg restaurants. I was wondering if I could ever taste that again now that I'm back in Lucknow. Thank you so much sirji.
