The lyrics in this quite surprised me. Really beautifully constructed. For a song with a melody line that didn't really deviate much in terms of dynamics, when he did that line from 1:50 it made me finally realise where his voice lies in the vocal 'bed' of iKON. And the simplicity of this song's melody line allowed us to focus on the storytelling of the lyric. Proving that sometimes 'less' really can be 'more' and that over-singing honestly isn't necessary to sell a song. It was actually really lovely to hear Chan's vocals without any other iKON member's voice to distract my ears. Good on you Chan baby. Really nice work!
It was YG that promised them solos but never delivered. Now no longer under YG they still are together as iKON and finally able to showcase their own unique and distinct talents,voices,and genres. iKONICS and fans can appreciate that. None of their solos have disappointed 😊🖖
