We actually found this a few years ago by accident. Our oldest daughter lives outside of Memphis and we took a different way home and stumbled upon Metropolis. Never know what neat things you will find driving across country. Great video!
Maybe a mask would protect Superman against Kryptonite! I would love to play the pinball game. So interesting to see how the costumes have evolved over the years. From long underwear(ish) to bulging muscle suits. Cool and funky museum!
I was in Metropolis, Ill about 6 years ago. I saw Super man but did not have a youtube channel so I could not take a video. If I ever get back up there I wouldl like to go to the Museum. I’ve only been twice, but this is one of my favorite places in Illinois. I was a part of setting of the first Guinness world record of most people dressed as Superman in one spot which Metropolis hosted. Great video!

The Super Museum is really cool. If you have not check out Nomadic Hippie. He is a full time rver and truck driver that is involved with the museum. He is a really cool guy as well. I can't wait to get up there and visit the location. There are tons of other stuff to do in the area as well. Great tour man. Newer to your channel but really enjoying. Thanks for sharing.
@Kernica1 I know there is a casino there that you can boondock at if you are camping. Plus there is a really nice bed and breakfest. There is also a great mexican restaurant there.
Wow! You were there and made this video only ONE MONTH before we were there! We visited the Superman Statue and Museum in August, 2020--just after you had been there. How cool is that?
