It involves a long drive with Lost MC spawning in front of you, so I always took a wedge shaped car and completely ignore them as they ramp off me. Ah yes, the pinnacle of shitty AI made by Rockstar. Personally, the AI in GTA 5 is still what I'd consider it's WORST trait. From my time with some of the previous GTA games, I can safely say that even as far back as GTA: Vice City had better AI in a lot of ways. GTA 4 DEFINITELY has better AI, no questions asked. I don't know how they fumbled the AI in GTA 5 so bad, that games over a decade older than it still have better AI than it, especially embarrassing considering they've been updating GTA 5 for over a decade now and still haven't fixed the awful AI.
I remember this one time I was trying to get a couple FIB Grangers to follow me to a mission. The plan was to call Lester once I got there so that NOOSE would take out the enemies for me. They kept crashing and losing me even though I was purposefully driving slow so they could keep up.
There are mods on PC wich make cops patrol with their cars around the map. If you get into a car accident and if Npc involved in the accident dies while cops are nearby, the cops will turn their siren on, they will then get out from their vehicle, draw their weapon, aim and yell at the dead npc(they probably think is its fault) inside the car in like if they would shoot and kill a dead npc already dead, but they don't do nothing in the end. They just stay there couple of minutes before going back patrolling. You should try it. Very weird situation lol!
istg AI driving in story mode is still (mostly) fine but I'm convinced they made it bad on purpose after the Import/Export update to subtly make us earn less money from damaged cars and wasted crashing time
I just wish there was some way to remove horns from NPC cars. It's so annoying I have to play music while playing. Why do they have to honk when I'm speeding on my own lane?
hey Whatever can you do a short video on the GTA story mode bikers? i have a theory that if you pass them when driving on the highway they go hostile just like in real life (lol) or they just shoot at Trevor cause of what he did... im not sure which is which and i never had the time to experiment it myself
I mean, they actually are programmed to hit you. Both in GTA 5 and RDR 2 (movementtasks ymt is responsible for it in RDR, haven't found the file responsible for it in GTA)
they are programmed to do that though, even whatever57010 (the youtuber who made this video) made videos that show proof of it they intentionally teleport, break laws of physics or break their ai while infront of you when you're going a high speed so you crash
The thing is you aren't suppose to focus on them... So that when their terrible driving cause them to crush, it will create a feeling of goons and minions crushing with traffics, just like those action movies😂😂😂

except the time it took for gta 5 to be made after gta 4 and red dead 1 is WAY different to the time it took gta 6 to be made after gta 5 and red dead 2, the game is also 100x more advanced so it will obviously have proper ai, gta 5 was made for the ps3 while gta 6 will be made for the ps5
@@Vozars oh right gotta keep in mind the rockstars stingy nature, they didnt wanna upgrade gta 5 systems after making game once for under powered systems, i have heard somewhere xbox 360 is mainly the base for pc version and newest xbox versions and ps3 one is used to make ps5 one, only enhancement is simple paint of coat really and AI upscaling, i do realize if i think more that gta5 is bit better here and there but it remains overall same!
Halfway. Though the only npcs in the game I witnessed that were terrible were the police and the occasional civi that randomly pulls into oncoming lane. Haven't had issues with the chauffeurs for our characters businesses like he has in the video 😅
if you start playing (story mode) as say Michael and get him driving in w.e car..then switch to Franklin..drive near where Michael was, (it helps to pick a conspicuous car, like an orange infernus) sometimes you can catch them driving in circles, lol. if you get too close, they'll spot you and get out..if you keep bothering them.. even though you're in a car, the "KO cutscene" plays..where they puch you and knock you out, like when on foot.
