Love that you reacted to this, its a great song. The whole chorus is a mental metaphor for how Mark centers Scott and makes him feel calm, loved and accepted...when he's on the verge of "take-off" or panic and anxiety. Really awesome love/tribute song for his fiance. Enjoyed your thoughts on it. FYI Scott just did a Choir version release this past week of Mars, more simplistic, but his vocals are INSANE, might want to check it out. Thanks for all you do!!! ❤️

It took me a couple times through the video to catch all the voice dynamics and all the video references. It still chokes me up at the end.....such a touching love song for any couple - man, those lyrics are killer!! I just saw a tiktok where Kevin is talking about how each of them is encouraged and supported to do their own thing with passion - they help each other in writing songs or arrangements, etc. then they all bring that passion and cooperative spirit to PTX. It was quite an interesting way that he talked about that.
This is the "proof" that Scott Hoying is a solo star if he wanted to be, Kirsten TM solo and her Broadway apperance in Kinky Boots, Mitch Grassi solo work as Messer, and Kevin Osula's solo channel on RUclips just shows how amazing the members of Pentatonix really are since all of them can hold solo careers but they all know they are even more amazing as a group. still it is nice to hear each of them go out there and shine on something like this where you just want even more of it.

i find myself singing some of the lyrics over and over again ,it's like stuck in my head.
the song is about how scott feel before meeting mark(his fiance) and how mark make him feel. mark is in the video and scott co-directed this mv. scott and mark are together over 5 year, scott proposed to mark on mark birthday april last year and june this year they would get married. scott co-found female acapella group citizen queens and kids acapella group acapop kids.
