    I agree, the tires are light duty for sure so depending on how you ride this may or may not an issue. I only have 5hrs on mine, but so far I'm very satisfied with it, a lot of whining in low range I've noticed also. Not perfect but a ton of fun!!
    Thanks for the video Chad!!

    I know this post is kind of old, but I had a 2005.... Yeah, they haven't did a whole lot to it, but some minor refreshes over the last 16yrs..... These machines are solid though.... If they do come out with a new model, or like a 850.... I hope they don't change much of the mechanics.... as the Brute Force has proven to be reliable....

    Heat off my left leg, terrible hot in the Summer. Yes, lower right hand side clicking or rattle, mines an '18 with only 300 miles on it, bought it new - I went from an 01 Polaris Magnum 325 4x4 to this so, there's no comparison for power. Love the sheer power of the Brute, yes, tires are weak and balloon'ey

    Yup tires are junk. Only option is to buy aftermarket. Yes there are some rattles (sounds like linkage?). Mine 2013 was just serviced and for now none of that. Wheels are fine and functional. I have no complaints about those at all. I do have a complain of my own. After 110 hours of operation my drive belt light came on which is as advertised. Resetting the light is just stupid. Disconnect wires, turn power on then off, insert some dummy plug etc. just ridiculous. It should be a push button and light goes off. Kawasaki could do a much better job on that issue. Oh and if you don’t reset it the vehicle will go into a slowdown mode.
    Having said that it’s a beast.

    1. Lights. Or lack there of
    2. Heat. Not sure of newer ones but older brutw will heat your legs up in a hurry
    3. Agreed tires suck.best thing about them is it's a quick and easy upgrade.
    4. Shifting. When plowing and going in and out of gear they do not shift well. You can't pussyfoot them into gear. Slam it and maybe at best you only lose one tooth.
    But you forget all of it when you hit that throttle.

    The three things I hated about my brute force are, the stupid shroud around the gas tank that holds mud and you can’t ever get all the mud out of. The next thing is the stupid little clips that hold the lights in place to the plastic fender in the front. And the last is the heat shield insulation on each side of the underneath of the plastic cowlings (between your legs) deteriorates fast and falls out. Looks like rats chewed the insulation when it falls out. Over all, I loved my brute force. It was a 2012 model, over 4000 miles, and the guy I sold it to is still running it. I’ve put mine through crawfish ponds in Louisiana mud at least six times a year during frogging season and haven’t had a single issue. My belt got old and put it into limp mode which I appreciated because it kept me from tearing all my belt cover to pieces, unlike my can-am. That’s my review of it. I loved mine overall.

    • @ChadOutdoors
      @ChadOutdoors  4 года назад

      @cnw4x4 4 года назад +1

      Chad Outdoors my brakes worked well. I know the owner of our local Kawasaki dealership and he showed me all the details of it before I bought it back in 2012. The rear brake has a wet brake. It runs in oil basically, but it will last forever being lubed and all. Mine I could lock right up, no issue. I did have to tighten my front locking differential actuator cable up though, I wasn’t getting it to lock up completely running 27” tires. After I did that, it was unstoppable. Changed a fuel filter once when it got a little sluggish, and haven’t had any major problems. I bent a couple tie rods but that was my fault. Hey, for $10 a piece I bought three extras.

      No but after seeing the difference it made for yours I intend too. I replaced my tires and rims and it took the wiggle out of the rear end. Thinking about a decent priced light bar for the front rack. Any suggestions?

    I own this ATV and have no clue about your #3. You would probably get more views and subs if you don't spend so time riding it in the beginning. Try putting it at the end. Also, please don't toy around with getting to what you're saying. And, if you want really happy viewers, place tabs on the slider so people can jump around to important points. Otherwise, you have a great start here and I'd love it if you would consider my suggestions. +1 sub.

    The stiff ride is what worries me. I’ve had 5 back surgeries and need a soft plush ride. Polaris Sportsman is like floating on a cloud....but I hate Polaris. Had 3 and they were tore up junk all the time. I’d really be better off on a Teryx but I can’t afford a SxS. Love the Brute Force but I’m afraid it will jar me around to much . Maybe I’m wrong, I haven’t rode one since they first came out. But everybody always says the ride is stiff

      I would go test ride one - they have an adjustable suspension. Reliability isn't a problem either. Good luck.

    Ive had 3 brutes since the beginning ..over 50,000miles 80,000km of hard rocky mountains ....you at 300miles have very little experience on the brute ..you didn't mention ANY of the MAJOR design flaws ..I still ride brutes but im getting tired of the bullshit problems they have ..some of the problems are completely retarded,like a monkey designed it on a napkin ..I love riding them but I could tear a strip off Kawasaki if I ever made a video about the brutes

      My title says 1st year review. I am making one every year so eventually I'll catch up to you big dog. I haven't seen the monkey on napkin issue. Thanks for watching

    Wow!! The tires and wheels come on.what about the 10,000 degrees of heat that melts your leg,and here in south Georgia it's 20,000 degrees or what about it not having a factory steel bumper on the front.If you want Kawasaki to change shit let's start with usability instead of worrying about prissy rims. Fyi all atv come with shitty tires.BTW not a subscriber....go Dawgs

      @@ChadOutdoors i haven't owned a 4 wheeler in years but i've been looking at the new grizzly. a friend of mine has a bf750 and is telling me to look at one of those..says it handles better, has a bigger seat for two up riding and is more comfortable and maneuverable.. all i want to do is some trail riding and snow plowing...don't care to do a 1000 miles an hour or pull a house but i don't know much about the kawasaki line..yamaha has always been what my family has bought over the years and i know they r very reliable..again don't care about vtwin and all that stuff but would like to hear what u have to say about both the aforementioned quads? thx

      @@adamant7146 Hi Adam! I am about to drop a new vid on top three things on the Brute Force. But I can def answer your question. I'm kinda like you always had a Honda growing up so hard to jump ship. If considering the Grizzly vs BF you will have a awesome quad either way. The Grizzly is more up to date with led lights and styling - even an updated motor. The seat on the Grizzly is way smaller than the Brute Force which makes it not as flexible. If you ride 2 up a lot then I'd have to go BF. They both will crush the trails and are reliable. I bought the extended warranty on mine for $900 covers me to 5 years! I would go drive them both and then you will know. Let me know what ya get! Also plz sub if ya haven't 😃
