train 3-5 times a week, and focus on your legs (calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes) but also dont forget your core (back, abs, hips, chest) for stability, and also your shoulder and arms should help shield the ball, but otherwise focus on the first two groups
Pull-Push-Legs workout split is perfect for training muscles in an athletic fashion. During pull and push days you can include cardio/football-training exercises.

The youtube channel BEADRIBBLER suggests driving with the middle part of the foot (right above two toes closest to big toe), but you suggest above the outside of foot--which i am more familiar with.
You can use the front of your toes, the main front, even to shoot as well but not alot of footballers try this. I don’t know why. But it does the toes as well
How to win dribbles against defenders trying to contain ? I find it relatively simple to beat defenders that go straight for the tackle ( by just pushing the ball out of their reach and running past them ) but how do I get past defenders trying to block and contain ? I cant figure it out for the life of me best I manage is a cross pass any help is appreciated
i think u slow down first and then if they go for tackle accelarate away like u said but if the still containing do a skill to make them misbalanved and then go the other way
nah just do body feints or step overs they can track back forever plus you have the advantage running back is even worse cause it makes the be unbalance even more
as a fullback, I defend and dribble up and to be honest, the best way to dribble is not to think of it as for example a 1v3 or 1v1, see it as almost a map of pressure, like the defenders give off a red circle and depending on how good they are, the circle is bigger or smaller, then try to find gaps in between those circles and dribble through them. sometimes you'll be entirely in a "red" danger zone and that's when you start trying more risky moves like nutmegs, chips, elasticos, etc. I know this doesn't make sense through text so I'll try to make a quick youtube video on how I see dribbling. (btw I am very successful when I dribble and I often dribble past 3-5 defenders when I'm put in a situation to do so. It's important to decide whether you should dribble or pass in certain situations)
