Murray is already a legend at this point. Kyrgios is a wonderfully gifted player and some of that is on display here at his early age. His speed , power , style and control is a joy to watch.
@@seltaeb9691 I agree. I did hear him recently saying that he did not often enjoy being on court when he was a kid. I can’t relate to that in any way but I have the luxury of being just another person down at the public park playing for fun and nothing else. What a joy.. I still feel that to this day
@@icefalcon2243at this year's AO he was unable to play, so became a TV pundit & he was great. Not one swearword. It shows he can be different, but is it too late now as he's been out for a while. This match is enjoyable nonetheless. As a Scotsman in Scotland I've never had Sky or Cable & apart from Wimbledon rarely saw his other Slams & zero ATP Tour events (he won 46), I wish these could be on RUclips, I'm on Prime, so saw Tour events 22 & 23, but Sky's nabbed it. I think no one should have exclusive rights, they can instead get whatever networks wants it & deals that is affordable & free to view. I mean buying your favourite snacks is available to everyone not exclusive for the rich.
@@seltaeb9691 it is awful that so much amazing tennis is paywalled. I certainly can’t afford ESPN+ on HULu for 80$ a month. Pffft no way! We gotta get what we can. I’m watching T2 on Prime video right now it’s good… Cabolli Vs Harris quarterfinal at the moment.
Australia never forgave Kyrgios for losing this match. Yet he played really well. His country's relentless criticism and mockery for losing such fine matches wore down his confidence. No other country in the world would have done that to their amazing young players.
This year and the following year, 2016, were his peak in terms of consistency. But there he lost numerous chances due to Novak's peak and Roger's god mode. It is impossible for him to have won only one Grand Slam in two years. If Murray was around this time in 2022, he would have won every Grand Slam.
Andy's Black period he's at his greatest & knows he is. The Big 3 recognised him as one of them now. But because he's a Brit he gets bad comments. Australia loved him for 5 Finals he tried & toiled to get to, is a record in itself. Go to Wikipedia & look at his stats, it's impressive.
He decided to make a name for himself by arguing for the sake of it & gamesmanship. If it wasn't for Nadal's Wimbledon semi injury, he wouldn't have made any Slam Final. Great talent wasted by himself.
If there's any man that deserved to win this grand slam then that's Andy Murray
Nah. If you deserve it you win it. If you don’t win it. Then you don’t deserve it.
King of Runner-up 😂😂
Andy became Oz's favourite son, that he wouldn't give up. Five runner up's, is worth more than 1 Final appearance that he wins.

Nick wasted that potential talent by becoming a ejeet that doesn't shut up & concentrating on his Tennis. He'll later regret it.

Murray was practically a video game 98 overall in this form damn lol

If he was around 2022 so would the big 3 so no chance of cleaning up at the majors

I dont understand how a pro player can get away with serving 125 kmh second serve speed

Shame Kyrgios became motormouth & not a great champion he could have been looking at him here.
Nick did not have Sinner's spirit. Otherwise he could have won at least one slam
