If you want some good vocal variety you definitely need to look at Hurrikan. It’s under 2 minutes and you could just double feature it with Hypa Hypa.
You've already done Hypa Hypa, but what would be great is to delve into the Hypa Hypa-verse and check out the collabs they did remixing the song.
I think most people would agree that the We Butter the Bread with Butter version is the best and most interesting vocally.
you should defiently listen to their cover of "everytime we touch"!
Yes! Agreed!
1 million agrees!
It’s so good
Yessssssdd
Defo 👍❤️😁
Do 'Hurrican' next! It's got great vocal variety packaged in the most surprising way possible. And you'd be ahead on the Charismatic Voice and Will Ramos on that one 😎
Would definitely love to see a reaction on that video, a lot of people don’t see it coming
That one is really disturbing though. I mean.. it's got schlager 😱
I think you meant Hurrikan? Their song Hurricane is an older and slightly different one.
And you’re getting several unexpected surprises 😊
Seconded
They also did an acoustic version of this song and it's absolutely amazing too.
English isn't their 1st language, but they annunciate perfectly.
You can't tell unless you watch EC live...but screamer Kevin, harmonizes w Nico's clean vocals, and Nico harmonizes w Kevin's screams... makes a rich sound.
Enunciate
Dude when you growled “ooh, let’s listen to that again” 😂😂 as a life long musician and someone who studied theory and composition at the university level, I love delving into these analyses, more so when people like you, who know what you’re talking about, leave all the ego and pretentiousness out of it. People take themselves too seriously, keep up the good work👍
I really couldn't be happier that you're down this rabbithole! I got the chance to see them at Download in the summer and it was the best show of the festival. They are a perfect combination of things that I like in metal: proper screaming verses, anthemic pop choruses, an acknowledgement of how ridiculous they are, great sense of humour, and all backed up with phenomenal technique and musicianship from the whole band. On top of that, they seem to be an absolutely lovely group of lads!
Your recreation of the "I won't take it" was totally on point too! Can't wait to be able to perform vocals like this.
Your deranged little “gehe” at 3:22 is everything 🤣🤣
I have to admit I "gehe'd" back 😅
The best thing about the Pump It youtube video, is observing the graph of which section most viewers spent watching 😂
Love your breakdowns of songs! Soo much quality information! ❤❤❤😊
I can‘t get over the part where they continue the aerobics-choreography in spite of the harsh vocals. 😂😂😂
You should watch their vlogs as well - so funny. Full of crazy antics.
And Kevin, who sings like a Hellhound, often talks like a puppy, while saying the most ridiculous stuff. 🤣
Thank you so much for these videos, I'm learning so much and also noticing things I wouldn't have otherwise.
Never been so early to a Chris Liepe video before 😁🕺
Its so awesome to watch this reaction...its so obvious that you are into and nerding out...its really cool to watch. Keep em coming
Loved the analysis!
I'm seeing them tomorrow night! I can barely sleep
I just discovered this band and absolutely love them!!! I love your analysis of all of their songs. You should do Hate/love or Neon which I listen to differently after watching your reviews and notice so much more in them 😊.
As i told you in your first reaction video of electric callbloy, you'd gonna have a lot of fun an still appreciate their talent
You reactions to Electric Callboy are the best. :)
Would be fun to have someone that's easy scared carry tray of soup in to the studio, while you're going from clean to harsh.
Chris turned into a little evil doing goblin man at the 2:00 mark 😂😂
Never been this early before, it truly does feel special
You'll absolutelly love 'Parasite' vocals. Thank you so much, I've enjoyed every single second.
your analyses are so great, i could listen to you for hours (I probably will), fantastic 😍👍
Chris man I love how you get unashamedly geeky about the music, I'm the same way!
Not moving while watching this video clip even listening to it is miere IMPOSIBLE! :D
Thank you for introducing to this face melting band, looking forward to a vocal analysis of a live performance! 🙌🙌
Man I really love the passion you have when analyzing songs, please do Electric Callboy's "Everytime We Touch" in the near future (their latest song)
It's funny that you mention trains at the end because they also have a song named Tekkno Train with perhaps the greatest breakdown callout conceived.
Thanks for a great analysis. Love this song so much! 😄💪🤘
I wonder if some of that vocal character you talk about it could also be because of their (German) accents.
What a detailed analysis! Check "Pump It Velvet Remix", another version with completely different vocals (vocal clean version), is not a cover, same Electic Callboy.
Honestly, watching you get so excited about the harsh vocals brings me so much joy
There's a direct tie between We Got the Moves and Pump It. There are s couple VLOGs which show the buff guy at ending of WGTM calling them out, the group wanting to get into better shape, and finally making a workout video for their fans. Good folllow up to WGTM. Hypa Hypa started the run, and Every Time We Touch is the most recent effort. Love hearing your analysis and appreciation of the techniques that make them so enjoyable.
Let's add 'Hurricane' too., for the awesome fun that it is. And the vocal variety, wuhahaha
I appreciate your enthusiasm for this group and with three videos on songs by Electric Call Boy inside of two weeks, you're certainly enthusiastic about them. I do like some pop, when it has beautiful melodies. I want to phrase this in a constructive way...
I caught their act the first time. The second time and now this third time just reinforce my opinion of them. They're good at what they do, but what they do is not something I enjoy or ever will enjoy. No matter how many times you feature a band within a short time period, you cannot force people to like them. There are so many greats who have never been featured for the first time here. David Coverdale, Stevie Nicks, Ann Wilson, Janis Joplin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackie Lawless, Sebastian Bach, Lou Gramm, Tori Amos...these artists have all resonated with millions of people the world over and will forever be known as legends...Variety is good!
I suggest 'Tekkno Train' and 'Everytime We Touch' next :)
Man as a guy who used to compose music back 20 years ago I LOVE how you analyze the human voice like an instrument. I totally understand what you're saying and it kind of makes me want to go back into making music again ^^
You are so entertaining❤
Please chris react to The Prodigy - Breathe
They're a Techno/Breaks group and that music it's all about panic and anxiety. They got an awesome vocalist with a natural singing ability that easily reach notes like C6
Still sad they weren't chosen for EDC with this song because the jury thought the song wasn't radio friendly enough. But maybe we would never have their next release Hurrikan without that😅
That was just a really cheap excuse of the officials. Let's face it: They are afraid of winning as hosting the ESC costs millions. It just makes us looks disgusting laughable. Other countries try their best each year although actually poor countries. And the country everyone is referring to as rich is afraid.
Also - a song that isn't played in radio because it is just plain boring and uninteresting is seen as "radio friendly". A song that many would love to hear and is interesting is "not radio friendly".
Well what have been Verka Serduchka, Lordi, Maneskin? How many songs of a ESC are later played on radio? Maybe 1 or 2 and still the ones I mentioned are so popular in ESC.
So who cares for radio in times of youtube and other sites?
the metal thing with 80´s and 90´s thingy.......and....believe it or not german humor :D
Best reaction ever to this song, loved it!
Love this reaction so much, it's hilarious and so informatory at the same time! 👏♥️
Oh, you so definitely need to analyze "everytime we touch", it's a gigantic pool of styles and transitions 😁
Love your vids! It makes me want to get som voice lessons with you. Keep up the good work!
Give US more electric Callboy 🎉🎉🎉space man
I like your breakdown style. It adds a different element that complements the Charismatic Voice and other reactors analysis. Well done.
If you like Electric Callboy, you should also react to We butter the bread with butter. I would love to see your reaction.
Definitely! He should check out WBTBWB vs. Electric Call Boy Hypa Hypa (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
You're awesome chris, im always so entertained watching you
We're happy to have you on the Tekkno Train Chris 🤘
I like your analysis so much 🤘everytime we touch next or if you want some serious songs mindreader or parasite
"Tekkno Train" next, please!!
Electric Callboy - 'Mindreader' next!
Absolutely love Electric Callboy, but saying it again, you need to check out We Butter The Bread With Butter (WBTBWB) "20km/hr" with Elizabeth and Will. Found them because of Electric Callboy and the song is silly, has great harsh vocals, with the singer making the most nonchalant faces. Shows that he is absolutely relaxed when singing his harsh vocals. Video and face make for a hilarious experience!
man chris found you the first time - you so funny :D
I’m not sure I’d say they aren’t taking themselves seriously as much as they are serious about having fun. I also wonder how their pronunciation is related to the fact that their native language is German.
Who would've ever thought 🤔 that Metalcore and a 90's Boy band vibe would actually work lol I guess we call it BOYCORE lol this is such a feel good band 🤘🧐✌️
Oh yeah bibobbob
That you for that reaction and your great analysis.
I would love to see your reaction to either the accoustic or the velvet version of "pump it". There you can hear what Nico is able to do.
Perfect analysis as usual, it's a pleasure to listen to you Chris. more MJ songs please, I suggest Give in to me, Is it scary, among others, there are so many more. Thanks!!
You really got to check the live in Denver version of this. It's so amazing!
Already down the EC rabbithole, yet not in the WBTBWB one? Please do the Coverversion of Hypa Hypa from We Butter The Bread With Butter. Then check out WBTBWB´s songs like 20 km/h, Klicks Likes Fame Geil and Dreh auf!...
😂❤
Electric Callboy is so good.. They should have represented Germany at Eurovision Song Contest in 2022.. but sadly they weren´t allowed to
Loved this analysis! But i guess its time for you to meet the MC Thunder :D There is MC Thunder and MC Thunder II, with the one song written by the old band constellation and MC Thunder II with the new one. So basically the song is written in the same theme, but from the same band in two different constellations. Very cool experience!
Talking about bands who don't take themselves seriously you definitely need to check Twelve Foot Ninja's videography
TEKKNO train, TEKKNO train!!! choo choo choo. lol it will make more sense when you listen to TEKKNO train haha
I think you should check out Pump It -Velvet Edition...
The whole tekkno album would love to see your reaction and your breakdown
Comment for the algorithm :)
Do Hurrikán next! 😊
Great reaction as always!! I would love to see you react to neon. It shows off Nico’s amazing vocals. It’s as close to Chester from linkin park as you can get. Have a great day!
A band I'd like you and others to check out is Element Eighty. Particularly comparing their older stuff to their latest album/songs that came out just this year. They've been out of the scene for 10 years, and still actually sounds exactly the same ❤️ it's wonderful, and the lead singer has such melodic sounds coupled with fantastic screams! The fact that they've been around a while also indicates they helped pave the way to screamo music ❤️
It looks like they were playing around with the gen-x 80’s aerobics wear as a funny joke and ironically discovered the fun and glamour of it. It is interesting.
It's a crime you haven't done MC Thunder II(two) yet. When you get to it I'm sure you'll feel the same
Nice reaction and breakdown! You should check out their song Mindreader. It's one of their more 'serious' songs but still just as badass
Do "Hurrikan" by EC! PLEASE!
I love these guys, they are so much fun and so good at what they do. Another band suggestion: Northlane. Marcus Bridge is an amazing vocalist, their new track "Dante" is fire. Would be awesome to hear a breakdown from you!
Oh, you’re on the Electric Callboy train? How about Tekkno Train?
Don't forget about Waterparks !
you should react to 'Hypa Hypa' or 'Tekno Train' next maybe 'spaceman'
He already did Hypa Hypa.
Hehe train 👀
awesome track
Flip side of the coin is the plot in you. Way more serious tone, but the vocal control and transitions are some of the best in the game
Electric Callboy have 2 serious songs which must listen too - Mindreader and Parasite.
Yo man. been watching ya for a bit...have a question. Do you wanna do a vocal challenge metal wise? Maybe clean too??? A scream/sing off lol. I go from Richard Harris to Patton to Mayhem to Vital Remains, would be cool to integrate. HMU. Ill pull of Sleep Token maybe....
Speaking of train, you need to check out "Tekkno Train" after "Hypa Hypa".
They did a song in 2 days with a youtuber friend and it kills xD look it up... Castrop X Spandau

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!
I THOUGHT HE WAS LEANBODDY'S CAPITAIN BILLY, BUT HE WAS A DIFFERENT FROM THIS VIDEO. But this video is interesting😂 It's also good to be intense✨
Mr,Chris's English is really easy to listen to. When I recommended to the same Japanese friend that there is a video where my friend can enjoy studying, my friend became obsessed with Mr,Chris's video and listened to it together✨Have you ever become an English teacher other than singing?
I was interested 😆 Also, Mr,Chris was singing in a short video [Oh! I hurt myself] The song is very good✨I enjoyed it so much that I looped it many times😆 I think your video is the most passionate and fun video like no other・:*+.\(°ω°))/.:+
1:10 on that sense, its like little v i would say
Still waiting for Nightwish 🎉😂
React to mitch grassi high notes he a countentor and check out pentatonix hallelujah live please 😢
Never heard of them before. Pop rock /metal I guess..?
Partycore
Ok...I'm gonna pitch you something a bit different. Check out Mindreader and Fuckboi. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the sheer range this band has.
7:31 No comment on the "deeeeepeeeeeer" scream? Disappointed 😝
Check out my hypa hypa analysis :)
REACT IS GABRIEL HENRIQUE - AND I AM TELLING YOU I-M NOT GOING COVER JENIFFER HUDSON
Seriously. You are sounding like a professional first. But after a few minutes it is unbearable to watch. Sorry you could not make it in the industry but yeah.
I AM making it in the industry! I've worked with some of the best vocalists on the planet, made courses with them, interviewed them, sung on hundreds of projects. You need to keep an open mind and dig a bit deeper before you start passing judgment.
Pizza 🍕 🎉❤😂humicide....
Nico does the clean vocal singing
Kevin is a screamer aka the one with the harsh vocals
both are amazing musicians!
ps you should watch their Tekkno World Tour UK / Vlog! It's one of their best live performances :)
REACT IS GABRIEL HENRIQUE - AND I AM TELLING YOU I-M NOT GOING COVER JENIFFER HUDSON
