This is hard for most of the fans to admit, but yes, he´s sounding amazing for this performance. Let me elaborate (for the hardcore fans who can not admit critics): This does not mean he sounds bad in other shows. Nothing bad with other performaces, but we must admit that TAITA songs had a little change on their execution because of Dustin´s change of voice during the years. I mean, It has been 21 years. It is perfectly normal that this happen. BUT (and this is beauty of this performance) in this live show, he sounds way much closer to those early days of TAITA and it´s incredible how it makes you travel on time. And all this without forgeting that now he has more control of his vocals and experience on his craft, so he can take it to the 500% of quality. It´s just amazing
Flawless somehow even isn't enough to describe it properly. The Artist In The Ambulance is an unmatched post-hardcore masterpiece. And it's perfect live, too. Unreal.
I’ll never forget seeing Thrice, Underoath, and the Bled and Veda in 2005 I believe. One of the greatest shows I’ve seen. Thrice played for what felt like 2 hours and got better as they played 🤘🏻
Taste of Chaos 2006 in Ottawa, Canada. Was in a lineup to meet As I Lay Dying and I heard Thrice come on! LATER! I ran so fast to that pit and did not miss a song! WORTH.
They're still Fxkn incredible!! Dustins vocals/screams sounds freaking awesome.. Obviously Teppeis do as well.. I remember buying this Album shortly after it came out in 2003.. I listened to it nonstop and after a while I started to drive the other guys in my band crazy from playing it so much Hahaha!! Great memories!! The Revisited release of this Album last year is so FXCKN good!! Awesome of you to post this!! 🤘
Man I saw them on the billboard outside driving by and thought I should go, then just didn't. I had no idea they were doing the album! Really kicking myself for not going now
Discovered Thrice just before Illusion of Safety was released and have never gotten bored of their music! Finally got to see them live in 2019 when they came to Glasgow with Refused and would love to see live again. The sound on this video is incredible
This was incredible. I'm 35 years old and Thrice has been my favorite band since I started learning guitar in 6th grade. Formed a band in 7th grade and we would play Identity Crisis in our bass player's garage. He died of cancer a few years ago. Fast forward, now I'm a full time EMT - literally an artist in an ambulance. Needless to say, this band and this album means a lot to me.. and this video is AWESOME! Thank you!
If all bands came out like this..., music would be so much better. No autotune, no beat detector, no samples on the drums (or at least doesnt sound like it)..., amazing performance!
I saw Thrice on tour for this album in Brighton, UK back in 2004. I've never seen a better performance by any band since. Thrice consistently give their all with humility. Unparalleled musicians...
I remember this coming out when I was graduating HS. It sounds even better now. I loved it then, but I didn’t appreciate how damn good this entire is, until about 5yr ago. One of the best of that generation.
I'd never heard any of Thrice's music before Taste of Chaos back in 2005. I literally went just for Deftones and I was a casual fan of a lot of the bands on the bill. I was up in the front of the pit near the stage, and when Thrice took the stage as soon as they played the opening song I was sold. I've loved them ever since and seen them whenever I had a chance to, several times. I wa 19 then, now I'm 40. SUCH a great band. Fucking timeless.
Ahh man, what a blast from the past. They had either just released or were getting ready to release Vheissu and played a lot of those songs during ToC. I had already been into their stuff at that point, but those songs are what sealed the deal. I’ll always make the effort to see Thrice whenever they’re on the road. Solid tunes and phenomenally good dudes too 🤘🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much for this video. I was so upset that I couldn’t make it to the concert here in Germany and now that I saw it here made me really happy. One of the greatest records ever made even got better after all these years. Mind blowing ❤
This album is amazing, and its Finally nice to hear this album at its true potential with performance and sound engineering. The old album sounds like it should be their demo recordings haha
Holy fuck this rules. Saw them a week earlier in St. Louis. This album means the world to me, so getting to see them play it in full was incredible. Really glad this video exists, doing gods work.
Not gonna lie, listening to the boys for over 20 years now and getting knocked in the head too many times at a lot of early shows, it's pretty surreal sitting down with a bourbon and the surround sound cranked up, I could get used to this. Great video, Beggars next please!
Didn't have to cut off poor Riley's head lol. This is by far the best quality Thrice video ever, just wish there were about 50% less camera cuts, feels chaotic.
Only time i saw them was 2006 or 7 opening for Brand New in Atlanta. They 1000% stole the show. Im overseas during this tour so unfortunately ill have to miss them.
So good. One of my favorite albums. I just wish they would have used the same amps to give it a bit more girth. Or, that's just the way it's coming through. Awesome either way.
Thanks for posting! Did you record their show last week (Beggars 15th anniversary)? I forgot to record any of it because I was just in awe the whole time, but I wish I'd captured some of those moments!
The cameras delivered pro quality but the camera work is unfortunately not professional. Drummer is cut off because they didn’t bother to check the composition, there’s an entire “main” camera missing from capturing the lead singer adequately, and the whole thing is edited like a teaser trailer because it’s missing the main angle. You can see the back of people’s heads more than the singer.
crowd seems a bit lame unfortunately. I saw 'em twice (so close, I know 🤣🤭) on this tour. Once in Cleveland and again in Pittsburgh. I was disappointed by the crowd in Cleveland. Pittsburgh was better. But I saw some clips from their show in Philly, which is where I'm from originally, and they of course knew how tf to get down
Can't explain how much their music has shaped my life. From when I was 13 to now that I'm 30, glad to see the boys still killing it!
This is an absolute masterpiece. This is the best Dustin has sounded live in arguably a decade. Thank you for this, a million times, thank you
idk never thought he sounded bad to begin with
😅 hectic
I saw him like 3 yrs ago he sounded awesome

@@MisterAlvarez I stand by my joke. But yeah skill improves with practice.
@@MisterAlvarez yep 100% i was screaming along with him this time at home going nuts
This album has been a constant in my Playlist since it was released. 38 now and still just as good as when I first played it
Im 38. This album was at the top no doubt
RESPECT: What I feel for the people who recorded, produced and shared this video. 👏👏👏
This album is flawless front to back
Flawless somehow even isn't enough to describe it properly. The Artist In The Ambulance is an unmatched post-hardcore masterpiece. And it's perfect live, too. Unreal.
best post hardcore band and album of all time
Most underrated band of all time
Man, I was just about to comment the exact same thing.. lol..🤘
In an alternate universe they're bigger than Foo Fighters im sure🤨
The abolition of man break down soooo good!
I wish I could go back in time to when I first discovered this album. But in the meantime... this will do nicely.
They're best album imo
Always amazed at how clean and yet how heavy the guitars are live
This might be my new favorite video on the internet. Holy fuck.
I’ll never forget seeing Thrice, Underoath, and the Bled and Veda in 2005 I believe. One of the greatest shows I’ve seen. Thrice played for what felt like 2 hours and got better as they played 🤘🏻
This album and band has aged like fine wine! 🤘🏼

after watching this i made my 3 and 6 year olds listen with me
Very happy this popped up in my algorithm.
Probably the best live video performance I’ve ever seen.

Saw them in anaheim california what a privilege to see them play this masterpiece of an album in full
I am ready for another 20 years of Thrice! ❤
First time I saw them live was february 2004...like fine wine below I agree!!
love this rendition of AITA
Man I saw them on the billboard outside driving by and thought I should go, then just didn't. I had no idea they were doing the album! Really kicking myself for not going now
I remember listening to these guys on my way to school as a teen, absolutely loved Deadbolt. Mid 30s now and glad to see these guys still rockin' 🤘
Discovered Thrice just before Illusion of Safety was released and have never gotten bored of their music! Finally got to see them live in 2019 when they came to Glasgow with Refused and would love to see live again. The sound on this video is incredible
The growth of this band has been legendary. Incredible musicianship across all their albums.
Doing the Lord's work out here. Thank you!

My god. This is just incredible work. Thanks a lot.
They sound amazing live. Just as good as when I saw them in 2004.
Saw this tour in Maryland and i was so happy to sing along to these songs with a sold out crowd. Love this album.
I know what I'm watching on the treadmill tomorrow morning now
Dustin sounds incredible!
this channel is incredible
If all bands came out like this..., music would be so much better. No autotune, no beat detector, no samples on the drums (or at least doesnt sound like it)..., amazing performance!
"Stare At The Sun" never fails to deliver. It always gives me GOOSEBUMPS!
Holy cow this is so well done. Kudos to all involved! Thrice sounds killer!
WOW. Good old times back again.
I was at this show! So cool to see it again!
I saw Thrice on tour for this album in Brighton, UK back in 2004. I've never seen a better performance by any band since. Thrice consistently give their all with humility. Unparalleled musicians...

Muito obrigado por isso ❤🔥
Such masterful musicianship, and the production, TOP Notch!! Thrice always hits the sweet spot just right. 🎚️🎸🎤🥁🎯
Thank you so much for this video.

Thank you for posting this. The best album by the best band. Absolute masterpiece.
I was there! Such an EPIC show.
Thank you so much for this! Best Thrice live video EVER!
Very nice. Last time I saw them was in the same venue with Brand New and Mewithoutyou in 07.
なつかしい!

They put out a revisited version of the whole album last year, it's amazing.

Saoco papi, saocoo!
Excellent video and audio. This is brilliant!
Favorite band at the time Especially with this album, it's the best.
Wow this is amazing! Thank you
Amazing job!, beautiful sound and photography. 💎
Ohhhhh yeaaaaaaahhh 🤍🥁
Great filming & editing. Nice mix, too. You deserve more view 🤘
Nice! Went to this show and "The Showbox" one the night before
fuuuuck yes!! thank you
this is just...PERFECTION.
This is fantastic
Enjoyed this more than the TAITA re-recording
Great work on the edit!
Thank you!
thank you very much for this!

F-ing cool…your bro on the drums rocks (he’s fuckin awesome).

Such a fantastic video. I wish y’all could’ve done one for Manchester too!!!
So good. One of my favorite albums. I just wish they would have used the same amps to give it a bit more girth. Or, that's just the way it's coming through. Awesome either way.
Dustin’s grin 16:21 cuz of Ed 😅
Thanks for posting! Did you record their show last week (Beggars 15th anniversary)? I forgot to record any of it because I was just in awe the whole time, but I wish I'd captured some of those moments!
This was a great show. You skipped the part where they had to stop the show mid song to throw a guy out?
Jesus CHRIST. 🤘
Was Teppei using Helix or his amps?
What are the chances of you capturing their Beggars tour?
Cold cash and colder hearts seems extra poignant currently
Dislocated shoulder at a show back in the day at Chain Reaction! Why aren't people moving! What a weird concert culture these days.
love this band, love this record, but do not love this mix.

Bro.. be happy with what they did, this video is awesome

Should have never re-recorded the album. In my opinion. It’s not nearly as good
Bass seems buried in this mix :(
And guitar too unfortunately. Oh well!
Who ever mixed the sound needs to retire, aweful sound mix. Thrice sound way better than this normally
They need to think about changing keys. He's flat pretty much the entire show
Thank you!
