Also it's not confirmed if Tsukishima actually spliced the 44.9 but it's likely that he did
Bro after you said "I wasn’t born" and it’s 2005, I felt old
"I wasn't born"
holy fuck I'm old
or this nigga is just young
bro woke up and decided to make me feel ancient with that "I wasn't born in 2005" comment...
I was watching a video of some girl talking about her games as a child and they were all games I played at 30+
me going to type this then scrolling down and realizing basically every comment is this sentiment
Conjuring Pepper
Old 16 star runs being discovered to be cheated never gets old.
Just kinda crazy that we still name cycles after them.
You realize there is no proof the Tsukushima cycle was cheated? Two of Tsukushima's 16 star runs were spliced and he concluded from that this must mean the single level run must also have been spliced
Never knew that was Suigi’s real voice
PANNENKOEK THE GREAT ALWAYS FINDS A WAY INTO SM64 VIDEOS!
Got chills watching the spliced Tsukishima relay where it cuts between 4 different runners. It's sick how all the footage blends with each other because the movement is simply that precise.
SIMPLY ☠️☠️💀💀☠️☠️💥🔥🔥☠️💀☠️💀☠️☠️🔥☠️🔥😜🔥🔥☠️☠️😼☠️👏☠️🔥😜💥🔥🙏☠️😜🐓☠️💥😜💥👴🏽💥😊
i love speedrun history videos, of a single individual level speedrun, just shows how much time and effort go into finding movement strats for every little moment in a run
7:19 What a legend! His heart rate WENT DOWN as he was performing the world's first ever Tsukishima cycle 😂 that's incredible!
someone has got to try the Mikko cycle with the Salt flip
Bro thinks he’s summoning pepper 💀
oh la wea wena, me rio como nunca
i get it’s a joke but no one owns an editing style, this is a good video
Lo que dijo ese
Summoning WHAT?? 💀💀
Spawning Paprika
For anyone wondering, the "Tokamikko cycle" is Finnish, well the Tokamikko part is. It literally means: second Mikko Cycle.
ohhh you guys cooked..
Give us evolution of stages in 16. I feel like WF and SSL would be great
Watching in amazement at runners hitting tsuki cycle was what got me into SM64 speedrunning and it still is my fave thing to watch! Great video trey
this is literally one of the best edited videos i’ve ever seen
Great to see you join the mario educators on youtube Trey, hope you make more like this
Mario, blink twice if the player is cheating
That speed up and pitched up Suigi clip got me rolling 😂 besides that, very nice video! I didn't know the full story, and I always love these kinds of videos, they are just so interesting!
bro wasn't born in 2005
I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see someone doing speedrun documentaries and NOT use the same songs as Summoning Salt.
You deserve a like just for that fact alone!
The TAS of this stage is one of my favorite
SAME. It's so cool to see a character fly through what's supposed to be a hard section of the game (or at least platforming heavy) like it's nothing, especially at the insane speed that the TAS does
This video is so fire! Looking forward to watch more. Keep up the great work bro.
the editing is great... good stuff man good stuff
Love the content! 🫶🏼
This is like a 500k subscribers quality video, but ur under 1000. This is absolutely insane! Keep up the good work man!
Awesome video to watch! Hope to see more like that soon
11:24 you killed my sides by editing it like that LMAO
alvin chipmunk getting 14:35 in 16 star
This video is amazing!! I will follow your career with great interest
0:30 As a french person, i'm dying of death.
i tried for so long to pronounce it, my attempts would’ve been even more offensive
@@treybordo not a big deal! btw it was 'lecoureur', not 'lecoure'

subscribed! gl on the 14:4x grind, you can top gtm!
I’m pretty sure you don’t hide the fact that your videos are inspired by Summoning Salt’s, but you do a great job and I was craving for this kind of content, so thank you and keep up the good work.👏👏👏👏
love summoning salt, big inspiration
Great video! 👏
mikko going sigma mode and just bljing like it's a tas
cant believe tsukishima even cheated
Yes I see you like summoning salt as much as I do.

This was phenomenally well made, if you're planning on doing more stuff like this I'd absolutely subscribe!
Edit: Also agree with the comments, I almost stopped the video and turned into dust when you said born after 2005.
Sick video bro!!!
Great video.
vid slapped fr
You sir get a sub
I was hoping that the a new record would have both tokamikko and salt flip. Unsatisfying ending.
i am so sorry.
Great video!
yay good job trey
great video ^_^ can you do dw with no reds history next? i think i saw a current one a few months back
Great vid! Would love to see the history of tick rock clock or rainbow ride 👀

great video!!!
Really good video ❤
I like your video style. You have a good voice too. Good job! Your video style surpasses the largest "speedrun history" channels in quality, in my opinion
More! MOOORRRRREEEEE!!!
Really cool vid
can you send the images of xiah's room
banger video trey ReallyNice
How much does the slow wallkick at the end of Mikko's WR lose? Saltflip alone would save .7, so we just need 2f of timesave for a sub 41 to be possible, just extremely painful. Noice.
with the way he does the ending, if you were to theoretically get there faster and do salt flip i think it could prob save a second or more, sub 41 is def possible but idk who is willing to do that
Nice video
Good ass content Trey
rlly good vid :-)
When I hear “I wasn’t born” before 2005 gives me great heed when assessing if I’m going to think your opinion on a game this old is worth listening to
what is your opinion on the red coin cycles in bowser in the dark world
Banger
I heard my name but its 2 k. I got scared for a second
very coooool! more pls o.o
Bruh why am i watching younger youtubers than me
I was born on 2005 wtf
19 years old/18 years old. "Such a huge difference."
Do you have some problems with people younger than you?
@@user-ts5jv2hk6z jeez man relax I'm just making a statement
7:58 music plz ? it's not in the playlist...
W video
You weren't born in 2005? Jesus Christ you are a literal child then
Le coo lay 😂
I'm here from squimothys
Could the mizzo bljs and salt flip be paired? Allowing another 0.7 to be saved off mizzos WR?
yeah it can definitely be done lol, someones just gotta do it
I liked the video:)
Man, this is a _really_ well-made video that gives Salt a run for his money. Easy sub. Keep it up!
BTW, you should turn this into a series. Maybe you could go through a bunch of interesting stars, including the other Bowsers and maybe some 100-coin routes (for instance).
keep ur eyes posted!!
Fuck yesss awesome vid
i liked it, mario 64 is good and yes, do ir, mario
banger vid
what is the context of the photos used to introduce xiah at 3:20? epic vid btw
they were pictures of his room at the time, during his wr grinds
@@remedy64 dear god… thanks bro
Why not call it the Xaya cycle now then?
so the original Tsukishima cycle was discovered back in 2012, and TsukishimaHato's cheated runs weren't found until this year. people have been calling Tsukishima cycle that name for almost 13 years, we basically decided to keep the name for clarities sake.
i liked it
Bro is not Summoning Salt, bro is Appearing Ginger
(jk its a really good video)
YO this video was amazing! you HAVE to do a video on fire sea! subscribing and praying
👀
speedrunner how we can the mamimux time possible normal player- you wont enjoy the game speedrunner enjoy it no i am here to master it and be the faster one

@@remedy64 who tf are you
@@squishypeanut42 i edited the video
@@remedy64 ahh. Ty. I thought you were just some guy
Fym you weren’t born yet in 2005?!
just turned 18 lmao
You weren't born in 2005? Fuck me I'm old.
hi trey
I am not sure tsuki cheating his old WRs automatically makes all of his achievements ever cheated. Phenomenally good players can still cheat when they can't get the achievement they're trying for, in fact it is way more common than bad players cheating. And splicing in the middle of a stage is a lot more difficult.
we don't think it's splicing, more likely that it's TASed or something because it was done on emu
@@treybordo I see. Thanks for the reply!
what barrier?
