Hi Jeff , Another Great Instructional Video. Have You Seen How Some People Are Putting Springs Where the Brushes Go ?! Give Me A Break . Seen Cars with Them on eBay . Who the Hell Thought That Was Ok .
Hey, that's odd, right? I understand having tiny springs under the brushes like Aurora did with their AFX Magnatraction chassis. But to just try and use springs in stead of the carbon brushes, makes no sense.

The screen in the drain is a great tip. I learned the hard way by having to take the drain trap apart to recover pieces that fell off.

One thing to mention, never use steel wool. To clean the track. It will ruin your cars.

Right All The Steel Wool Pieces Will Stick to the Magnets ! Another Bright Idea . What A Mess That Would be!
VRP Slot Racing has a Comm Tool. That works in a Dremel. Or other small rotary Tools. It does a fantastic job of cleaning the Comm.
