Pinterest is a good idea, but it depends on the type of business you are into, I think social Media is the best way to generate audience to your website, Instagram, Twitter.....alot of people prefer to pay influencers but 70% of influencers are not really good at generating traffic.

Extremely useful tips. I have gotten an Etsy digital products selling strategy. What if I create a one-page Google landing page on the Google site and put the destination link to my Etsy shop? Secondly, what if I create pins, and make relevant boards on Pinterest but how do I co-relate my Pinterest business page + my Google landing page + my Etsy shop to drive traffic? Next, as it is only a one-page landing page, can I write blogs on a Pinterest blogging platform itself? Lastly, what would be a destination link URL on Pinterest? It would be a great help if you guide me to overcome the confusion.

Hey Neel Das, thanks for your question. Just to clarify, do you mean blog or vlog? I think a blog can be helpful to create regular content, yes, but if you have a lot of products, you don't necessarily need an additional blog. But if your shop only has a couple of products, then a blog can really help drive traffic. Hope this helps

Hey Katie, I pin manually on my pinterest account so I wanted to know that what should be the minimum duration for pinning the same link (already pinned) to the same board and at a maximum how many times I can pin the same link with different images.
Ok, so there's no "for sure" answer to this as Pinterest does not communicate things like that openly. But what I do right now is 1) Wait at least 6 months to t pin the same pin to the same board 2) If you create different images, you can pin the same link again and again (this is what we know now, might change in the future)
Hey Katie great video. If I was pinning stuff not relevant to my business on my business account should I start over? Of should I just delete the boards I created and hope it fixes itself?
Hey Deidra, I recommend you turn the boards that are irrelevant to your business to secret (you can change this in the board settings). If you delete the boards, you'll also lose the followers who are only following the board but not your entire account.
Hey Katie. I was wondering if you still have tailwind and if it works well for you? I tried to use tailwind but the app wouldn't work and on playstore it has a pretty low rating - 2.5 stars.
Hey there, yes, I still use Tailwind every day, and it's working for my blogging business. But having said that, I always use the desktop version. The app is only working for Instagram I think, and I haven't used it.

IS it still work to blogger website for free traffic, since most of us spend all day pin 3-4 times and creat blog everyday? looking forward your reply.
It's a plus yes, especially if you're looking for free traffic without paying for ads. But it could also be other free content such as video, or podcast content.

Hey Natalia, I'm so sorry to hear that, and I get that it can be frustrating. However, I would say 1 month is really not enough time to fully assess how well you're doing. It really takes 3-6 months of being consistent to see results.

you add the link that leads directly to the blog post your pin is about. hope this helps!

You can add your alt text when you create a pin on Pinterest itself.

So for the first 3 months, you see no traffic at all? You're completely invisible?
No, you can see some traffic for sure. But in my experience if you're pinning consistently for 3 month you'll see results.
