There are so many confusion among rider about when or after how many km they should change the engine oil of their motorcycle (bike) and scooty (scooter).

In an automobile, an engine oil is used to reduce the friction and ensure smooth functioning of the various parts in an engine. An internal combustion engine plays a pivotal role in the functioning of the car. It works because of the reaction between fuel and air, that is the oxidation of the fuel. An engine is made up of many parts that work in tandem to make sure that the vehicle keeps running.
An engine oil comes into play to maintain the smooth functioning of the various parts of an engine and to avoid friction between them. This is largely dependent on the thickness or, technically speaking, the viscosity of the motor oil. Different oils have been given gradation according to their viscosity and these gradations have been provided by the ‘Society of Automotive Engineers’ (SAE) who take into consideration various viscosity characteristics.
Over time, the quality, consistency, and color tend to change on your oil-based lubricants this is because of many factors that directly “age” your oil.

Garmin ke season main konsa synthetic oil use korna chahiye ? Kindly batai cardio main 10w40 use karta hun
In Bd we use minarel oil for 900 to 1000km
And synthetic oil for 2000 to 2500km.😊

Currently I am using Motul fully synthetic 10w40 . I have bought 2x1L bottles on Aug'23. But during my last oil change, only 1.25L has been used .. and the rest is there in the bottle . I am planning to change the engine oil this month, so should i use the leftover oil ?
Use can use it for top up in between as it will help to maintain the engine oil level

Every bike or scooty or car has a service book where manufacturer of the vehicle has written which quality of engine oil is required for the particular vehicle and also described there how long the engine oil (kms/months) is suitable for use. Vehicle Owner don't take other's advice. Writing here long long time experience.

1) Engine oil brand change is bad for engine health?
2 ) can I change 10w30 to 5w30 sometimes, due to service centre don't have 10w30?
3) changing from normal to semi-Synthetic is bad for engine health?
It is bad for engine health because engine recommend 10w-30 oil .you can upgrade to 10w- 40 but do not downgrade. don't change number before (w) 5w -30 is thin oil it will not lubricate your engine properly . Don't change your grade what company have tell you stick to that only it will be good

I am using activa 2023 new model .. In user manual and in service center engine oil change km is 6000 km..
But local mechanic says to change very 2000km
