Keratin is a smoothing treatment that seals the hair cuticle with a coating of protein that eliminates frizz and adds softness and shine. The process can take anywhere between 1 and 3 hours depending on hair type, length, and fullness.

You can do the same kind of treatment with Queen Helene's Cholesterol Treatment. The reason her hair looks so beautiful & shiny is from the flat iron too. The heat brings out the oils to the surface and gives it a nice sheen.

Keratin treatment can be done on a hair that has dyed ash or blonde but there will be a discoloration in the colors since the keratin treatment will be repairing the damage in the hair. What do you mean by cutdown? Is it like cut the hair that has dyed and to the treatment? If so yes can do but the hair should at least have 5 inches length to do this treatment. If you want a permanent straightening, then rebonding is good but if you need to do a treatment without any damage then we recommend the keratin treatment but that is not permanent.
