"Wooden Heart" Original song by Alexander Yerks

This is a song I wrote called "Wooden Heart" It's autobiographical.
I've decided recently to make some of my private videos public. I recorded this four years ago when I was living alone in a yurt in the Catskill Mountains for a couple of years. This was a very reclusive stage in my life after losing everything I owned in a house fire in 2014. The song is a bit of a reflection on that. It's off the cuff, and I'm trying to open up more about my music which I've kept sort've secret, or to myself for a very long time.
The song is unfinished, and the video clip is just some things I would record to keep my mind busy during such a tragic and lonely time in my life. Music has a way of taking us to other places, and I'm so grateful to have always been able to rely on it as my vehicle.
So I hope you're not too critical of my music as I'm not a professional musician. Just a real person, sharing something that doesn't have a ton of editing or glammed up studio autotune.

thank you. Sorry I forgot to edit my description. These new videos were kept in secret in my private account as I was nervous to show them to the world. I hope to get back to sharing more music, and I really appreciate the warm comment. Check my description as it'll tell a little more context of my song.
