  • Well at least Bernie tells you clearly and honestly what his position is..LIKE IT OR NOT! "When asked whether “counter-terrorism” under a Sanders presidency would include “drone strikes and special forces,” Sanders replied, “Well, all of that and more.” Indeed, on NBC’s “Meet the Press” last Sunday, Sanders issued bellicose threats against Russia, called for a major escalation of the war in Syria using Saudi ground troops (a stance he reiterated at Tuesday’s debate), and declared his support for the drone warfare of the Obama administration.

Snowden wouldn't mind being prosecuted as long as he had a fair trial, which he won't.

Fine, prosecute him, on one condition. The jury is told of jury nullification in detail.

I don't have a problem with prosecution. What I'd support is a light hand with prosecution and a willingness to not smother his voice and not stuff him in a hole never to be seen again. So Sanders pretty much fit my opinion. I'm Canadian though.

Mel Falck: "As a combat veteran of the U. S. Army who served as a lower enlisted soldier, a Non-Commissioned Officer, and a Commissioned Officer I fully support Bernie Sanders. In my opinion he is the only candidate running for the presidency (right or left) who is truly concerned about the interests of all Americans, not just the wealthy elite. His voting record is consistent and he is the strongest advocate that we have for the lower and middle classes.
For folks who consider themselves right leaning and who fear the label “Socialist” (though technically Bernie Sanders is a Democratic Socialist) I challenge you to consider some of the most successful programs associated with our country (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security). Also, consider our public roads and infrastructure, National Park System, Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, Postal System, etc. Not to mention the plethora of programs and services at the state and local levels (i.e. sanitation departments, fire departments, public utilities, law enforcement, and the like) These are programs that are designed to benefit the whole of our citizenry. Finally, consider the military itself. It is one of the most “Socialist” institutions associated with our nation. While serving in the military, your healthcare is provided for, your clothing is provided, your housing is provided, your food is provided. Not to mention the multitude of other services and programs that are available to you as a service person. I think that the general public’s fear of Socialism (again, disclaimer, Bernie Sanders is a Democratic Socialist. There’s a difference.) Is unfounded and akin to the McCarthyism that was rampant in our nation in the 1950’s." #FeelTheBern #VetsForBernie #Bernie2016 #BernTheVote #EnoughIsEnough

You are combining 2 different aspects of the word "Social"...1. Medicare is paid into while you are working so that it is there when you have become disabled or retired. 2. Infrastructure is something that either each state takes care of, that isn't socialism. The government already has huge over reach and you seem to think nothing of it. There are many people around that "know for a fact " that Socialism does not work. As much as many of you millennial and few others think that Socialism will save the day, you are sadly mistaken. No one in their right mind would trust any government that much. There is absolutely nothing unfounded about the common sense that Socialism does not work unless you are in the controlling sector. Reread your facts on history and not this modern garbage that misleads people!!

Well...at least..Bernie believes that Edward Snowden should have a fair trial, unlike any other candidate, except Jill Stein.
Well..at least...Bernie wants to limit military and drones. He is more of a dove than any candidate, aside from Jill Stein.
So, while its fine to criticize Bernie Sanders, at least keep things in perspective.
