@@alexkrycek3359 I worked on the audio mixing of that broadcast, in Milan at the RAI studios, we didn't use any pre recorded track, we are not used in Italy to do that, people would complain. We are used to live singing and instruments playing. So no, was all completely live. If you want to check more, there are many other performances of artists , always on national tv , you can see what I mean ;)

So... I did a little musical analysis and found out he added that line for a reason. He sings this is in the same key as the original but when he sings "maad" at the beginning, he goes down a half-tone. He then adds that "someone like me could be" which is a bit deeper than in the original basically. That means he has to climb higher to end up on the original notes of the chorus. In the original he goes b (brown), d (blue), b, c (violet sky). Here he goes g (brown), b (blue), d (breen :D), b, c (violet sky). So my guess is he intentionally changed things up but forgot the extra word he was supposed to sing (probably green). No idea why I spent the past 10 minutes analyzing this but maybe someone else finds it interesting too!
