      A quick polish that will shine up paint won’t always remove a lot of scratches. This method is great for the beginner and great for preserving clear coat 😊

    I need to try your method! seems faster compared to the traditional ; Dab polish on paint, spread it, then wipe wipe away with a prep, product then another wipe..

    How many batteries do you keep around the shop for daily use? Just curious as to the battery life on those things! It looks mighty convenient to be cordless, especially since I detail my car in the driveway under direct Florida sun (sometimes)

    Hey brother, I want to clay before I polish. Can i use the clay towel/mit while the car is wet with a graphene shampoo? Or no because the graphene in the shampoo will seal in the contaminants that I'm trying to pull with the clay mit? I'm trying to soak the car down, and spray iron remover while using the clay mit

      The graphene is not an issue, make sure the soap doesn’t soften the Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel

    Hi Yvan. Will this not damage my ceramic protection if I do it on the entire car? I just completed chemical and mechanical decontamination but want to see more gloss.

      If you polish a ceramic coating, you remove the ceramic coating.

      I'm new to the polishing game still need to get a polisher or 2. Will test on my old corolla beater before I touched the benz of a potential customer car

      Most doors are too large, plus from an ergonomic standpoint you do not want to polish wider than your shoulders.

    What milwaukee product is that? Is the pad youre using the factory size?

      It’s the 21mm DA, yes with the 6 inch factory backing plate.

    This is intriguing so is the spray polish just lubricant and it's relying on the cutting ability of the pad or is there also any abrasives in the spray? Also does either product fill in micro scratches?

      You can by hand , but it takes a lot of work. This isn’t a wax, it’s an abrasive polish ( compound).

      Our yellow foam pad with Gold Standard Polish isn’t as aggressive as our wool pad, but it can take out a surprising amount of swirls and scratches and finishes down awesome on most paint 👍

    Way slick move to wipe off with your LSP. That's got to beat using an AIO where the protection has to put up with heat and abrasion.

    Can you tell me what some foam pads are flat and some (like yours) are sort of like a golf ball? One better than the other or a performance thing?

      Flat pads are the least expensive to manufacture, hence why they are popular. A waffle pad has many advantages, principally better user experience ( less grabby), keeps the surface cooler, and they are more efficient.

      It was rotating, the polishing footage was accelerated to fit the short format

      Just fast enough to maintain backing plate rotation, speed 2-3

    Just tried this polish today, and it is awsome ! I will say rupes yellow polish cuts more as a one step, but the gold standard is one to have in your arsenal. No dusting and definitely enhances gloss, and you don't have to worry about hitting trim

      @lanthonyperdum6430 it was on black hazy paint. Brought back all the clarity but like I mentioned the rupes yellow did a little better attacking swirls which where heavy . I'd use diy polish for jeweling / Enhancing gloss which is majority of the jobs I do when polishing.

    I wasnt a very big fan on my first videos of yours that came across as i felt it was just a bunch of different shorts of the same thing. For the same product. (Not that id say having tons of products would be good at all, just that its alot of the same thing but differently each time.

    That's terrible! Use 3M Ultrafine 39062 and a 3M Perfect It 05733 pad and a DA polisher and get a mirror finish every time.

    Why wax over swirl marks? That paint needs a paint correction, not an orbital wax.

      Yep, this is a demonstration on how to "quickly enhance" (not sand, compound, polish and jewel) your paint:) Shiny paint is the goal here, not perfect paint

      @DIY Detail I thought so. Too often I have customers struggle to understand the difference. I tend to paint correct a bad scratch and then wax a bad one before I even begin either now so customers know what to expect.

    Any wax will do that as long as your applying it to a car that has good paint try that on a car that’s 10 20 years old

    I got one for you try buffing a 2024 black blazer electric car that sat in the rail yard for 8 months!!!!! You'll want to quit your job!!!! Thin paint almost scratches touching it!!! General motors new paint jobs are awful!!!!!

      this polish demo was for a one step, gloss enhancement polish -- specifically targeted to the DIYer, or enthusiast, who maybe has never polished paint before. There will always be a rabbit hole to go down in search of perfect paint:) But that's not how we approach polishing, we're trying to help folks get great results with simple processes and great, easy-to-use products

      It works great on many different paints, the yellow pad will give a nice one step with some defect and swirl removal + great gloss

    These are the kind of videos that made me start making detailing videos. You get some yahoo working on a car that already looks good, wipes some crap on the car and then says, "Look at how good that looks!" Seriously??? People are still falling for this crap? 🙄🙄🙄🤦‍♂️
