Classic? LHR Spotting from August 2005

I found some old camcorder tapes (yes, tapes) from a trip to the UK in 2005 and my first time spotting at London Heathrow.
Not sure if can be considered "classic" but there are some aircraft and airlines in the video that aren't in operation any longer. I can't believe it's been almost 12 years already!

Apologies for the shakiness, I don't want to use the RUclips stabilization as it will degrade the quality even further. Seeing as these are from old tapes I'd rather preserve as much detail as possible.

I grew up near Myrtle Avenue, saw things from old TU154’s to 707’s and then nowadays every other plane is a 787 and the rarity is the Icelandair 767’s... how times have changed

Late 90s, early 00's, the variety of aircraft was at it's peak. 727s, 737 classics, 737NGs, 743s, 744s, 752s, 762s, 763s, 764s, 772s, 773s, 77Ws, A300s, A310, A320 family, A332s, A333s, A342s, A343s, A345s, A346s, DC10s, MD-11s, DC9s, MD-80s, MD-90s, L1101s the odd Fokker would show up...and ofc...the Swan of the skies, Concorde

And that's it. Heathrow is a very boring place until a Trent 800 starts to roar. 😢 and those will be gone within a few years too.

Wooow aviation was much more vibrant and gorgeous than today. The jets were far louder than today’s geared turbo fan engines, this is what you can a loud jet aircraft

Tanay.not bad Good capture I like BRITISH AIRWAYS plane so beautiful one of my fabrate I am happy still thisairlines 2019 today available but many airlines are gone I really miss this period 2000 to2005 my childhood days nowadays plane I not like so compare past planes but I enjoy nice memories thank you.
