hello... masters I am doing electronic repair, I currently have a counterpoint da-10 Dac, there is a noise sound at the Chanel A Output, where should I look on the motherboard in this regard, thank you in advance.

I have one just like yours mine was original and I sent it in to Alta vista for the upgrade also paired with a sa 220 counterpoint amp along with manuals
Over engineered and hybrid technology using tubes and SS.....must go wrong in the long run . Oe can check,if the pots set for bias or for leveling inputs/outputs ... then adjust for correct current of each tube ( datasheets can help , so does the final evaluation confirmed by ear of the sound quality ) On the power supply rails there should only be made use of 105°C LL type of capacitors... What ever these kind of pre-amplifiers are subject to regularly control and maintenance and need qood and higher priced quality components and tubes ...they are money pits in the long term... Any way it's no fun to work on them ..... Thank you for the upload ....

I did a quick google, looks like they're still in the tri-state area. bigkidz222 on ebay has been around for a while.

I purchased one from the builder at Alta vista one for the sa 3000 and the sa 220 amp
This guys must know exactly what he is doing because he keeps on sticking his fingers inside the unit while is on...
Yep , ....he probably uses an isolation transformer....then there's no path to ground and no circuit closing .
