These comedians were big at the 80's. This song derived from them using the chef Werner Vögeli as character. He is a famous chef and he showed up at the end of this video. The whole Christmas-album from Werner und Werner (BTW, it's german accent with a twist of skånska) is great. I love the comedy of these two guys, Sven Melander and Åke Cato. You should watch more of them on RUclips 🙂 And Billy Butt... same story as Weinstein. Got jail for rape-charges. Slimy sob. Deserves his lastname 😆 I understand your reaction to this song, but I think you really need to know the comedy of Sven and Åke and the era of the 80's comedy in Sweden. Not really a child-song, just for comedy. Another fact: They say "Det går lika bra med selleri" is also from the chef Werner Vögeli. He use phrases like that.
Just adding that these guys are actually originally journalists. Sven is now doing political satire videos which are great and funny. Their TV shows was my absolute favorite as a child!

And yes, they are making loving fun of one of the big celeb TV chefs in Sweden in 1970’s and 80’s, Werner Vögeli, who actually also appears in this video before they let the bike wheels down. He was Swiss so therefore spoke with a German accent, what these two comedians from Skåne is trying to do.
At the end of the video there, you see the real Verner Vögeli, the one they were constantly parodying. He was a good sport about it and showed up in their humor skit on SVT.
In the 80s we had two TV channels in Sweden and every saturday at 20.00 we hade ONE entertainment show for the week. And it was safe to say everbody watched. And these commedians were in it 😂
"Älska mig (för den jag är)", av Ainbusk Singers👍 Du tyckte ju om den blonda tjejen som sjöng i "Lassie". Här är det bara hon som sjunger, och det är med enorm känsla! Du kommer gilla den, lovar👊
This is the best Christmas song ever! Always on my Christmas playlist. 😆 But what can I say, I was a kid back then and this TV-show, Nöjesmassakern, was SO big! We only had two TV-channels back then so when there was a show like this, everyone watched it. Lots of funny caracters that we quoted all the time at school and also they got some popular national and international singers to come to the show. So of course when Werner & Werner did a catchy Christmas song, it was a smash hit and has stayed that way. We pass it on to our kids and they also love it! 🥰
I was doing military service at the time. We had a lieutenant in my company who was very "big-boned" if you get what I mean, and wasn't well liked. For us, this song became about him.
The Cardigans med My Favorit Game - 1998 The Cardigans med Nina Persson i spetsen slog igenom internationellt och blev jättestora i Japan bla. Tror du skulle gilla videon till My Favorit Game (Stone Version).
A little thing about the lyrics to be aware of: "Grymt" at this time only had the meaning "cruel". Since then people has given this word the meaning "cool", and many young people probably think that "cool" is the only meaning of the word. "Vår julskinka har rymt. Det tycker vi är grymt".
Yes. Sven Melander is from Skåne trying to do a German-Swedish accent. 😂 And yes it is a silly song with a lot of pun (and you’re right) that might not be perfectly understood by those who aren’t native Swedish 🙃. And. To be fair the last silly song you reacted to (Canneloni Macaroni) wasn’t really getting a fair chance by you since you listened to an awful short English version (also with lot of pun and timing lost in translation). Check out the original here: ruclips.net/video/_3A-7AuysxQ/видео.html About Laleh and the song “Some die young”; I think it is “too new” to be on your Swedish classic playlist since it was released 2012? I grew up with this song, it came when I was 10. It's fun since it's about two chefs talking about this run away pig. They sings and talk with a german accent.

Also "grymt" is the sound that pigs make in Swedish... "grymta som en gris" = oink like a pig
Livet är hårt sa bonden, grymt sa grisen.
At the end of that video they are letting down wheels. "Fira hjul" = "fira jul". A pun.
