This era, man. It really felt like Dreamcatcher set out to prove to everyone that they weren't just the weird horror metal girls (but didn't shy away from it either, with "Endless Night"). They did EDM, they did melodic goth, they did jazz, they did straight-up Michael Jackson-homage electropop. And they did it all to perfection, while looking PHENOMENAL - their fits are really unlike anyone else's out there - tastefully sexy in every way. Visually, this was ALL their eras… This was the perfect comeback era, except for two things: Handong's absence (even that had a silver lining though - introducing masked dancer Kang Riye and the rest of the new choreo team), and being slotted up against the IZ*ONE juggernaut on the music shows (even with InSomnia firing on all cylinders they weren't getting a win against that). I know sales on "Dystopia" have been excellent - roughly double any previous comeback's - so I know they and Happyface are pleased. Have to say it - they have become my ult group and I CANNOT wait for the next comeback…
But then of course there's also the silver lining of being up against said IZ*ONE juggernaut - new friends! I always love seeing them making friends with other groups... :)
@@Brickerbrack It's ironic that IZ*ONE's comeback was originally scheduled for November but got pushed back because of the Mnet vote-rigging scandal. No idea how far in advance Dreamcatcher booked their comeback time, but had IZ*ONE kept the original date, Dreamcatcher would have had a couple of weeks of easy show wins in late February. It IS great that Dreamcatcher have so many friends and fans among other idols - I have seen so many members of other groups saying how much they love "Scream". Just would be nice to get that "first win" monkey off their backs, even if most of Dreamcatcher don't really care much…
God-tier editing and shoulders. This stage is absolute murder and I'm OK with DC killing me this way. You can set your clock to DC's choreo and that is why the editing worked the way it did. Also, Bora's abs.
