- Here is the official Fab Four Demo from the late 1990s. Most of you probably don't recognize the George Harrison in this demo. The George in this demo is David Brighton. He was the original George of the Fab Four. This tape was made about a year before Michael Amador joined. Ron McNeil gave this demo to my uncle on VHS in 2000. Enjoy...
This band has been together longer than the actual Beatles themselves!!
@WannaBeatle 97
@WannaBeatle i googled when they came out it said 1997
@WannaBeatle it says they started in 1997
@WannaBeatle ok my bad
This isn’t the oldest still active Beatles tribute. The oldest still touring Beatles Tribute is “1964.. The Tribute” which was formed in 1984 and is still together to this day.
It's insane that Ardy looks great after all these years
Well guess its time for a wings tribute now
@@Vinyl_guy Ardy has actually been in a few Wings tribute bands
Ron's voice before was spot on! It got deeper. But I can't believe they've been doing this since the 90's, unbelievable! No doubt that they are the best Beatles Tribute Band ever!
Even better with the addition (Too temporary) of Adam Hastings, (IMHO). By the way, anyone else notice that Ron is NOT playing a Casino? He's playing an EPI ES-335 with a casino Trapese Tailpiece. I really don't blame him, the 335 gives a lot more reach and comfort on the high end, but as a "T R I B U T E" band, he ought to "Trib" to the Casino.
Normally, pretending to be a band you idolise might end up being sad, but these guys nailed it and they make being a impression band, or tribute band, look easy
Since then they've gotten better looking George's and Ringo's
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe they got a new Ringo
Edit: I did look it up, youre correct, my bad
Joe Bologna is the New Ringo.
Wierd thing is now it's a whole new lot
Now an identical John
Harsh but true hahaah
90? No way...they keep the same faces today...28 years after??? No way.
Jota Oliver to be fair only Andy and Ron are still in the group.
Jota, LATE 90s. Just saw them recently. Makeup helps a ton. First time i saw them was at Pechanga, PBS Special. Age certainly didnt effect their talent. Im guessing Ron and Ardy arent that much older than myself. Probably all born in the 70's /late 6o's😊
Oww yeah. make up rules! ...What I don´t understand is how this guys had never be invited for a official tribute...or even Paul invite them to sing a single song in his concert. Would be amazing.
gavin is not the george here and eric where not here.hehe ardy and ron is so young in here
Make-up does wonders.
Young Ron really sounds like John. Ron now has a deeper voice.
@Supreme Pikachu he runs behind the scenes but he left the actual band because he didn't like being in a band but he runs it
@Supreme Pikachu He's back in now...Adam, in the interval of being locked down in his native U.K., decided he doesn't want to be away from his family so much. Adam is going to do "Solo John" in Europe. The best John Lennon impersonator I've ever seen, with the same sense of humor and he just radiates John, yeah?
But Ron McNeil, not looking much like John, DOES have the vocal chops and sounds dead on like JL...he founded The Fab Four and he is a secure guy when you put in a guy like Adam Hastings who stole the hearts of fans quickly---this makes Ron HAPPY, as it is good for The Fab Four, Inc. (or whatever it is---I never KNOW these things!). So, welcome back, Ron---Love You!
@@1060michaelg Thanks for the info , I always wondered what happened to Adam
@@johncooksey79 No problem, mate...also, Adam HAS played some shows in 2022, if I'm not mistaken...so he might be back in between now and the next (we all know it, don't we?) Lockdown.
Ohhhh. So the Fab Four was already a tribute band ever since the time George Harrison was still alive. Very nice!
I think that's the most impressive, and also how they're still around today
Been together longer than the original lads... albeit with a couple of changes. Testament to how timeless the Beatles music is.
Ardy looks and sounds different now. For the better
Jacob Bailey IMO he sounds the same
yeah, he sounds more paul than ever now...
I've always wanted to see what they would look like if they were filmed with those old cameras
That is probably why they do some of the footage in B/W for that very effect, so they resemble what was back then in the early 60s.
Unless you can get hold of an 8mm camera with the film to match, only software programs for your computer can and will provide you with those effects, photo shop is a good program to use, easy and simple, in comparison to some of the moderner image programs.
Once you crop the picture to how you want it, print it, or just put it in your slide show.
They're all good in their own way, they all are keeping the music and Beatles alive for most of us who are interested.
Younger generation's are interested in this music, that a lot of us who grew up with it, take for granted, because 'The Beatles' influenced our live's.
The younger generation can only read about it, or imagine what it may have been like, if they talk with those who were there.
60 odd years ago, 1964 was 'Beatlemania', and their music is still living on, thanks to these bands.
As a Scouser from Liverpool U.K. i can state that these lads are the best Beatles Tribute band Iv'e ever seen and heard bar none.
Ardy sounds almost exactly like Paul, he is a top notch professional!
Saw these guys a couple of days ago at The Villages in central Florida. Absolutely amazing. I think the only original member left in the band now is the Paul guy. The new Harrison and Lennon guys are even closer looking to them and sound amazing as well.
Buzz Buzzerson No Lennon the same guy
@@abird6217 adam hastings - fab four live cant really do virtual performances ron mcneil : can do virtual performances , behind the scenes
Honestly I will always love the mid 2010s lineup, having Ron, Ardy and Gavin
Saw them tonight in Albany Oregon and they were GREAT!! Every lyric and chord were right on the money!!
Hi how much the ticket?
@@escarenoazul It was a community paid event so it was free (with donation) to anyone who attended. ;-)
Ardy and Ron have barely aged at all!
just saw them on 4/7/18 at the Grove of Anaheim and it was amazing. I had up front stage seats. Beautiful guitars -authentic ones, great voices. I was too young to see them back in the day but this was so real. Thank you guys!!
One of the greatest tribute band ever the fab four the music is right down to the note unbeliveable the greatest band ever thank u fab four Ed coronado
Matthew, this is cool. Thank you for this.
These guy's would be huge in Japan.
Ringo was on Larry King on 6/11/98 (and Linda McCartney died 4/17/1998) so this was broadcast on 6/12/1998.
amazing.....thanks guys
The news story mentioned that the concert was held to celebrate Paul’s birthday and commemorate the recent death of Linda McCartney. So it appears to have been made around June 18, 1998, 7 months after I first saw the Fab Four with David Brighton!
Best Beatles Tribute Band Ever!!
Cool find!! Thanks!!
Ron can be Rongo.
I think they have the new george and ringo now.
hello from Joe Nania
Yes The Best!!!
Wow
Me: Mom, can I go to a Beatles concert?
Mom: No, we have the Beatles at home.
*Beatles at home*
Good enough.
Also, who was Paul? In some scenes, it looks like Ardy, but others it doesn't.
It was Ardy the whole time
Ardy was younger then
definitely Ardy. I started seeing them about 24 years now.
The death of Lennon/McCartney??? Did you catch that at :16...lol
He said Linda McCartney, who died in the late 90s. Same time as this demo. So
Lionheart Roar He said Linda MC Cartney! you idiot!!
ghostt girl ghostt spook Well it wasn’t said very clearly you asshole!
Actually Linda McCartney death and Paul McCartney's birthday are clearly mentioned several times. No need to call anyone an "asshole."
How about Javier Parisi as John Lennon? He just happens to look more like
John Lennon than Adam Hastings, both do look uncannily like Lennon, both look similar to each other.
Both manage to sound just like John Lennon.
is is true that Jim Owen was the origonal George Harrison then David replaced him that same year?
Jim Owen was one of the George's at the time. Before The Fab Four was officially Ron, Ardy, David, and Rolo; there were different members that played. It was whoever was available at the time.
That information was given to me by Ron.
Thank you
I wish they were an English band. Nice one lads.
Is that a Dave Clark from ktv2 channel
Old George looks like Nic Cage mix Ben Stiller.. Lol
0:16 death of Lennon McCartney?
Paul's first wife
"surviving trio"
well that didn't age well...
They look way more accurate on this trailer but then un the actual show: too much speech too much lights everything is too modern
Hahaha allright
Who’s paul in this?
Ardy Saraff
I like rain better
they're ok.
