    Stahlwille is another German tool manufacturer. Good stuff based on the very small number of Stahlwille tools I have.

      If I ever get so lucky that I have the money, I’d have stahlwille, wera and hazet full catalog.
      That’s what I dream about when I go to sleep.

    I like all these videos a lot! They are the perfect blend of entertainment for purely based xennial. I have a pair of NWS linesman pliers and can confirm NWS tools are purely based. I also have experience with the original NUT CUP, but for details, you must ask my wife.

    • @ballinator
      @ballinator  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the feedback. I'll go without the nut cup details for now.

    I no longer buy German tools ever since I can’t physically check the oil on my combination wrenches. I have to rely on a sensor… smh

    "Every time I look at these I think of Jolly Ranchers, and I kinda want to lick the handle. Is that wrong? I don't know."

    Pfrd in Germany makes some really dope abrasives and their files are top of the line. Their file handles are really basic, but the files work in the old wood handles I have so it's not an issue for me.

      Thanks! I'm planning on doing a video on Pferd files at some point in the future.

    Gedore are great tools, used them for 40 years, in my main work. Peace brother.

    You missed out Wera, Stahlwille and Felo. Gedore is pronounced with a hard G, like Gidora, the Japanese monster! Elora was NATO military issue in Europe for a long time, lots of army surplus Elora (and Gedore) available on eBay UK.

    I have never heard of Elora. That is not a well known Brand here in Germany. Irwin/NWS are also not common here. Never heard of Heyco before. Ironside is crap from the supermarket. Wiha, Hazet and Gedore are really great Brands. You missed Wera

      @@ballinator Also, in german you don't swallow letters, so the "e" has to be pronouned. End-"e"s in german are pronounced like the "e" in Amerika.
      Ge-Dor-e

    Heyco is garbage.
    Nws is also not nice.
    Here in DE, we only User Gedore, Hazet, Stahlwille, Wiha, Felo, Knipex.
    Elora is an Old Company, the dont do innovativ stuff since 1980 anymore.
    Oleasy say "K"nipex. Unless it sounds like a chipmunk or an cleaning Treatment...

    • @ballinator
      @ballinator  9 месяцев назад +1

      Wow. Thanks for the feedback. Sad to hear about Elora. Their wrenches are so sleek. The "K-nipex" vs "nipex" pronunciation debate is huge here. Thanks for the clarification.

      I disagree about Heyco. Also you forgot to mention Witte, Halder and Kukko in the good category. NWS is a mixed bag, but has some good stuff.

    • @ballinator

      It's a tool that is unique. The uniqueness puts them a step above regular tools. They also have a pH level above 7.
