Rosaria Butterfield is an amazingly intelligent woman. I always enjoy hearing her speak.
We, who elected these lawmakers, must reverse our sins and remove them and these evil laws from our lives and societies.
We first need to come to terms with the fact that our lawmakers are neither writing nor reading the legislation they're voting on ... until we deal with that, these trends will continue ...

It is just appalling that government schools have become institutions where teachers seem to have to promote LGBTQI lifestyles and practices. I am so glad we home schooled and then Christian schooled our children. God awaken the church. Thankyou Rosaria!
Evangelicalism now has a target on it's head (as a movement), but Jesus promised that to be evangelical (doctrines) you'd have one.

DA Carson helped me on that text because he gave some contextual insight: Jesus had promised them suffering, them finally suffering (after the glory of Pentecost) was the fulfillment of Jesus words on the matter, hence their joy.

What thoughtful believer takes Evangelicalism seriously anymore? Let's be honest, a cultivated and reverent spirit can't watch Christian TV, visit a Christian bookstore, sit through a religious variety show with the scrunchy-face singers...without throwing up a little in his mouth.
Yes. I didn’t take Butterfield seriously at all until she repented for saying we should use preferred pronouns. Now I listen cautiously.
@@kinthecountry4301 And just for the record, I'm not taking Butterfield to task. I'm saying she, of all people, comes from the belly of the beast and is confronted by the obvious naivete of Evangelicalism. The soul of the church is not its theology, it is its culture; not what it avers but what it loves.

A couple of years ago, in Australia, it was (is?) mandated in schools. And the 'Message' was Anti-Bullying, but what they were doing was Indoctrinating "LGBTQIA+". Gary Orsum did an excellent video on it. Sadly just a couple videos are 'premited' by RUclips.

Pray for the children who can't be pulled from public schools. Many Christians converted after marriage have lost spouses who will not allow homeschooling.

Autonomy means doing whatever you want.
Creation Ordinance, also called Creation Mandate are the commandments given to Adam and Eve in Genesis. These predate the Mosaic Law and are often thought to apply to all people rather than just Christians.

Gen 2:24 A man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
"Be fruitful and multiply" applies not only to humans, but also to animals and plants.

Not for long. Because being a Christian means being born of the Spirit of God, aka the HOLY Spirit. You may be an ungodly mess when you become a Christian, but by God's grace all your sins will be conquered through the Spirit's conviction of sin in your life, toward your eventually joyful conformity with the revealed will of God.

@@dgbx6 To me, yes, that's what I see. But I have seen deliverance of many kinds since I was first converted, or born again. And I know that this is God's commitment for every one of His children. This is the message of the author in this "Room for Nuance" video, too. So if your approach is to castigate those who wish you the best - meaning restoration of holy response to desires in your life, both holy desires and unholy desires - you'll have to impugn a whole lot of us (really the entire true church of God). I wish you the best - namely, I wish you the transforming presence of the High Commander of souls, our savior from sin, Jesus the Christ.

I'm surprised Rosaria graced your podcast with her presence, after that sycophantic and cowardly performance you put on with Ligon Duncan.
The government's job is not to further the Evangelical or any other religious agenda but to provide and secure the rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all individuals fairly and equally within the laws of the nation. Perhaps it seems like an attack because your position has overstepped its bounds and is not where it should be such as in politics. Further I would argue the attack is not against God but against individuals assuming to represent his intent on specific issues, based on their own personal opinions.
This woman is a tad ‘off’. Jesus said “love”. Love all including gay people .
