- True communion with Jesus is more than mere belief,it's about deep, sacrificial love and complete surrender to Christ.Father Michael compares the journey of the Israelites, who remained united despite confusion, to our spiritual journey, where staying together and in communion with Christ is essential, even amidst doubt and temptation.
The cross is highlighted as the ultimate symbol of God's love, demonstrating that true love requires sacrifice, not only on God's part but also from us. We are called to examine how much we genuinely love Jesus, beyond lip service. True love for Christ is reflected in our willingness to surrender our will, desires, and control to Him, entrusting our entire being to His care. This surrender is not easy, especially as the world offers many temptations, much like the forbidden fruit that enticed Adam and Eve.
We are urged to choose between the world and Christ. It reminds us that we cannot serve two masters; our hearts cannot be divided between God and the world. Communion with Jesus demands holiness, perfection, and a willingness to let go of sin, even in its smallest forms. To truly follow Jesus, we must walk the narrow path, which is often challenging and uncomfortable but leads to eternal communion with Him.
We are challenged to assess our communion with Jesus, and to love Him fully and surrender completely, so that there is "lesser of me and more of Him" in our lives. This is the path to true discipleship and eternal life.
Lord Jesus in the blessed sacrament give me the grace of knowing, understanding you and learning how to love you more. Amen

It's easy to "like" someone
Loving is a decision I make I guess. So...I can even "love" someone I don't "like"
Loving is about giving, and not about receiving
To love, I need to give up and give in
To live a Christian life is easy, but only,...yes only when the Holy Spirit is in control
