It depends on the motive of my trip. If I am looking for nightlife then Tenerife. If hiking then Gran Canaria, if is a family trip then Lanzarote, for beaches Fuerteeventura, for authenticity La Gomera, and for snorkeling La palma. (Referencing to an article I read) That being said, My top 3 visits would be Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote. Although, you can't go wrong with any of the islands in my opinion. Thanks.
Qiute fair, all of those islands are worth visiting. Although I would avoid Fuerteventura and Lanzarote at period of December - March, strong wind for me is tolerable when is really warm. I was wearing hooded jacket on May a lot.
Hi Alice, that's was great video! It was good learning more about the canary Island or islas canarias in spanish. I didn't know they were 7 islands in total. On a separate note did Covid spread at all at any of the islands? I guess you need to be vaccinated to go to certain places in Europe from the States right? And did you go up there for work? Just curious to know. Take care. Thanks.
Hi Alice, this is a bit off topic but did you hear in the news about the volcano erupting in La Palma. Just thought what a coincidence you doing your video a little while back and now having this event occurring. They're already evacuating its residents. Apparently this volcano roars to life for first time in 50 years according to National Geographic.
From what I’ve read it is only affecting La Palma, sadly many people have lost their homes and entire livelihoods. Many farmers and fisherman on this island and the lava is going right through populated areas
Which islands would you visit on a trip to the Canary Islands?

I flew from Scotland to Lanzarote and hopped to La Gomera by Binter, by ferry went to Carrelajo. I love La Gomera, will go again on my next trip.
Every where you go there you are.👍
I only explored Gran Canaria by car, if I ever visit again I'll look for some hiking trails instead. Some of the streets there are really sketchy :-D
LOL yes some sketchy roads for sure. You definitely have to get out and hike

Also did you get the chance to do any cycling, paragliding, scuba diving or sailing? I read that the islands are good for that.
This is footage from several trips in 2017 and 18 that I never made into a video.
@@AliceFordAdventures Oh okay, I understand. Thanks for letting me know!

Beautiful scenery and good info. But - and maybe this is just me - the singing in the background is really distracting.
