Wait, on Kickstarter page it says the 45L weights 3,97lbs or 1,55kg, but it's wrong: 3,97lbs is 1,8kg, thats a big difference! Weights written for the 25L are correct though. That is clearly a big difference that makes me still want to keep my travel backpack if the weight difference is so small.
Ah, you're correct. We made a typo there and accidentally put the weight in kilos without the hip belt, and the weight in pounds with the hip belt. The full weight info is below. Without hip belt: 1.55kgs (3.42 lbs) With hip belt: 1.8kgs (3.97 lbs)
I hope you will make another video about using this for everyday carry. I am into those lots of pockets and it's lighter than the original 45 liters travel bag. But those "external cords" make me feel that this bag is too exposed in urban environments.
I have been hesitant to buy into the new releases because most of the Peak Design videos are more promotional than these practical load out and top tip videos. Having just watched this and the sling load out video I am now tempted.
Depends on how many changes of clothes you personally want to pack, but I'd say for that length of time you would need to pack the clothes in the interior of the bag.
lol 17 lbs. You do realise that absolute MAX weight for a UL loadout is 5 kg. The heavy bag is obviously not helping, but the reason issue here is terrible gear choice. Someone needs to go back to UL school.
great vid, Grumpy Bradley Cooper explained it perfectly!
I cannot wait for these bags to ship!

I have no idea what an oz is 😉
I guess some wizard
So it's 14 wizards...
Not so much a wizard but maybe where a wizard lives?
Informative and beneficial video
That was slick!
The next vid should be on how to pack these out for photography on the trail or outside, I’m really looking forward to these coming out
You can find some examples of photo load outs in our recent Backpack Instructional video with Tyler!

We'd love to have you in the PD Outdoor Family. 🤝
lol imagine carrying a DCF tent in a crazy heavy backpack.
Pro tip! Awesome! 😂
can the 45L carry packaging cubes with 3-5 days worth of clothes inside the front kangaroo pocket?

I am a loyal fan of your brand in Hong Kong. Thank you all team members for your support! 🫰🏻
Someone needs to go back to UL school.
