  • Hey Guys! I hope this video is helpful. I’ve found that a wig bleach bath is the easiest way to bleach a wig.
    You’ll need a large bowl
    30 vol developer
    Bleach
    Clarifying shampoo
    A large brush
    A wig

    This was a great tutorial. I’ve watched a few to prep for my project coming up, and out of all of them, this was the one.

    This is a great way to see if the hair is high quality human hair, virgin, unprocessed, or if it’s human blend! These vendors do be scamming 😳

      I just got a full lace "human" hair wig I tried to bleach..... like 10 hairs turned orange.... 55 turned grey..... the rest did nothing....

    • @TrenLestar
      @TrenLestar  3 года назад

      You would use less. I made quite a bit because I had a lot of hair to color. Make sure s enough to fully saturate the hair so you won’t get any patches

    Wow this is amazing!!!😍😍😍I have a question. If I were to water bleach my bundles they are 1b color and keep in the water bleach a little longer enough will it become brighter like 613 blonde?(is it necessary to bleach brighter) I'm looking to water dye them bright colors behind the bleaching but wanted an easier way to bleach them first!😩😅

    • @TrenLestar
      @TrenLestar  3 года назад +1

      You may need to do this process twice to get to 613

    • @sianimadi
      @sianimadi 3 года назад +5

      You would have to process the hair twice but be careful when using 40vol developer. Its better to process hair multiple times with lower volume than to use 40vol both times.

    What is the purpose of the shampoo in the bleach bath? I always hear you can add conditioner when applying color never shampoo.

    • @shaniaphillips6511
      @shaniaphillips6511 2 года назад +1

      Shampoo works with the developer to dry out the hair oils and helps strip the hair with the bleach bath. Conditioner mix with color helps to brighten the color and soften the hair

    Does the clarifying shampoo assist in the bleaching process or is just to make the consistency more runny, because i switched to clear developer which is a liquid base instead of the cream developer due to the cream developer being thick, so will I still need to use shampoo?

    • @denaysiatarver7307
      @denaysiatarver7307 3 года назад +2

      It’s usually done with just clear developer and bleach powder. I think she just used the shampoo to make it runny.

    • @sianimadi
      @sianimadi 3 года назад +2

      The clarifying shampoo dilutes the mixture but it also helps you run the product through lots of hair at one time without it getting tangled.
