There are so many awesome ideas in one video. I'm definitely gonna save this one for later use. The techniques are without a doubt top notch. Thank you for such a great presentation.
Another fantastic video Kevin, like always! People often overlook all the things you have to keep in mind to make NA cocktails as good as alcoholic ones, and from my experience, they are definitely harder to make, especially deeper and more complex ones, because isn't the spirit kind of half the cocktail by itself? Cheers, can't wait to reach the next bottom of the glass!
Thank you! I think the same. Non-alcoholic cocktails are more complex to make, of course, if we make it correctly. I appreciate you staying through the bottom of the glass. Cheers!
Keep it in the fridge, and I think it should be good for about ten days. However, be aware of anything that might form in the punch. If you notice something unusual, it’s better to discard it.
@@KevinKos an alcoholic milk punch lasts very long, basically months; this one only 10 days? would you say you could prepare a big batch, freeze it and then defrost as you need it? and also another question; what about the the shelf life of the white vine vinegar; the honey ginger sirup and the mint tea? I mean these ideas are amazing and awesome but I am trying to see if its realistic using these recipes in a bar in a sustainable way so that you don't prepare it and have to throw them away after a few days; maybe also freezing them? amazing vid as always Kev !!
@ Yes because there is no alcohol to preserve the liquid. It might be good for longer than 10 days but it all depends on the storaging. Freezing is a good idea. All zero cocktails have a short shelf life so that's a challenging part. You could use benzoic acid but this will then be closer to a store bought stuff. So if you ask me, freezing it is.
Anyone attempt the strawberry punch? I'm going to give it another shot but I just couldn't get the web of curds to settle properly. I laid a cloth inside a mesh strainer... I'm going to forgot the mesh strainer and just try to filter through a cloth and see if that works better.
I'd actually like to see some low ABV cocktails. Maybe at some different levels in terms of standard drinks. The goal being to maximize the use of liqueurs/spirits/etc for the flavors they impart, particularly what always seems missing from “mocktails” NA “spirits,” etc. Leverage the NA stuff you suggest as well. So a NA version, then what to sub to get various low ABV alternatives. Maybe a version that is 0.1 standard drinks, then one that is .25 std drinks, or whatever it turns out for it to be a real cocktail, but at min ABV for the desired flavor profile.
I agree. I love low ABV cocktails more and more. I think globaly we are heading in a right direction, but NA "spirits" are still super expensive and they can't justify the price which is ussualy higher then the actual spirit where there is a ton of taxes already added. When we will achieve to have NA spirits for a lower price and with a little bit of creativity by ourselves I believe we can raise the bar of NA or Low ABV cocktails even higher.

Thank you for your constant support Kawone! It means a lot to me!
I'm always looking for good NA stuff, for myself and for others. This was great.
Can't wait for the low calorie-high protein cocktails!
Just add a spoonful of essential amino acids to each drink as you go. Or get flavored essential amino acids which match your cocktail profile

Can you recommend an alternative to whey for the penicillin, please? Thanks in advance 😊
Make a whey using coconut or almond "milk".

I recognise that candied ginger garnish!
Haha right? Cheers my friend! Hope to see you soon again
How long would these last in the fridge?
use it in a week, but you can freeze it for later use.
What do you think how long can you keep that milk punch?

For sober october, or as we call it in the biz, locktober..... you know what, never mind.
Okay but now low calorie mocktails
Ginger, honey, tea and no alcohol 😮? Finally a cocktail a day can keep the doctor away!
Alcohol desinfects, a little whiskey wouldnt hurt I guess
