- so I was just sat at home bored as usual and decided that I wanted to go out and try get I to some perch and do a little challenge to see exactly how many I could catch

Best advice I could give is what I got told go for it and learn along the way. I'm still figuring all this out it ain't easy but I think I'm getting the hang of it more and more 😁

So what line you using on that super finesse rig mate? Loved this video. Just shows theres much more to fishing then big fish. Something some other channels miss.
It was 4lb Berkley triline or seaguar 6lb now too sure haven't got that set up anymore

@@TheoutbackUK cheers buddy appreciate that, yeah I'm not mad keen on braid. I prefer a fluoro or mono straight through. And as for the casting I get that I'm the same too, can never have too many cast styles for different situations. You should do a vid at some point in the future, showing everyone all the different casts and how they are used in certain situations. Jeffas Jefferys casting masterclass, think that will be a big hit with viewer numbers and potentially new subs.

I tried the Flip Cast a few times on my bass setup. My results are either beautiful backlash or the lure hitting the rod during the loading phase 😅

Thanks man and this is where I wanna take the channel now. Basically I came up with the name the outback UK years ago and had some big plans for clothing and taking doing survival trips and I think I'm still gunna try and do that with it. But I wanna take a more personal road with RUclips and now have to worry about professional videos etc. It makes sense to me haha 😁

I fished the same peg 2 weeks ago dropshotting worms, had loads. Had a right session further down mate. 5 above 2lb and my new pb at 3lb 4oz, buzzing!

Cheers mate. And yeah they actually fight a fair match among JDM stuff especially tsurinoya it's definitely crazy having a £50 rod stack up too a £170 rod

I don't think I have used the elf. But the Teton is an amazing rod however I would personally away towards tsurinoya myself

Yeah you would need a tiny ewg hook though I know that crazy fish do then small enough to fit there small lures

I actually prefer fluro for most things but it can be a little bit harder to use. So I'd suggest braid for now no higher then 12lb and yeah man bfs can be a super fun way to target perch 😁

Yeah will work well mate. And I dunno man most finesse reels are gunna be like £200+ u less you get some cheep Chinese ones like the tsurinoya spirit fox it something. Head over to needhams specialist tackle on Facebook and drop him a message he will sort you out tell him I sent you 👊

Pmsl I'm currently suffering from "venue jealousy".! What lovely clear water, my local canal here in Edinburgh is just about unfishable at the moment due to a thick layer of duckweed. 😢
If you want a serious bend in that rod take a day trip to the coast and find yourself some mackerel or wrasse, they both go crackers on the lightweight gear.

@@adamsmith8533 just trying to find an actual canal with perch and pike in it the canal i fish i swear its a big struggle i lose a few lures and mabey if i am lucky i catch a small jack or a perch and the river aire near me is even more of a struggle and also dont get cheeky or ill put you on your arse
