What a hike and beautiful!!! I need 2 cups of coffee first. 4 am ? Good job getting out too ! Pretty smoky kitty with green eye's. Much love from Texas ❤
Wow. Your adventurous spirit is awesome! Your hike reminded me of my hike to a volcano in Michocan, Mx. LOVE it and happy to see that Sombrita tambien le encanta las aventuras!
Thanks for another fun and fascinating adventure. Danny, I was on the edge of my seat watching you navigate that dusty country road! It was totally worth it for the exceptional views you got on the crater's edge. Take care and have a good week. 👍🤗❤🚐🙏🌎
I think that was very well done, outside your comfort zone and you managed it calmly and effectively. I don't know if you are aware of the ESC button but a lot of people will tell you Promasters don't do well in dirt, but a quick push of the ESC switches off the electronic sway control and gives the wheels independent pull. I use it all the time in National Forest sand though you bulldozed through the talcum powder with great verve. I was taking notes... I haven't been to Nicaragua and Ometepe (where we got stuck) in 20 years and you are reminding me why I am so glad retirement is round the corner.
@@the.vandersons Excellent. I will follow you as I am very interested in your journey and who knows may see you on the road though we shall be far behind.
For sure! In this video we used my iPhone X and the Insta360 One X. Now we've upgraded to the DJI Osmo for every day instead of my phone and we love it! Thanks for watching! 🗺🐾
We try to be smart travelers, but we’ve never been scared down here. The military in this case might have been alarmed since it’s a rarely used path. Throughout Mexico and Central America the people have been very kind to us. I think it is much more safe for travelers than the media would like us to believe. I cannot speak for those who live these places full time but we have made great relationships while passing through the countries.
Stephanie 🌹 Rose from Florida🌴 thank you for taking me on this adventure. Danny have you ever had your DNA checked every time you talk a certain way or look a certain way you remind me of Tom Cruise but better looking!
Sombrita just wants to play!!! Dog... Cat... Pig... She doesn't care!!
Always!! Anyone that looks at her will be apart of playtime 😂😂
Wow!! Just, wow!!
We loved this hike 😃

We’ll do whatever we can to beat that heat! Thanks for watching 😃
The 360 camera really enhances the edge of the cliff, whoa! Good job navigating the dicey road. 🚐
Oh yeah! We love it. Thanks! 😃
Fabulous video people. I was exhausted just watching your hike, but the view from the top was incredible.
Thanks for watching! Starting at 4am is tiring but at least we weren’t too hot! We love crater hikes 😊
Thanks for taking me along! Great driving to go along with the great views.
😃 Danny did an awesome job getting us as far as we could make it. Thanks for watching 😊

Oh yeah ESC was definitely off for this one! Ometepe is much better paved now! We didn’t get stuck, luckily haha

Awesome! Yeah, would be great to see more vans down here 😊
Cool stuff 👍
Thanks for watching 😃
I live in the jungles of Mexico. I have 2 machetes. Totally worth the effort to sharpen them! Not only brush, but also snakes...
Ya we gotta pick one up! Seems like all my van friends have them too. Are you in la Sierra Gorda? Nos encanta México!
Totally beautiful but those cliffs were really undercut - be so very careful walking on those edges guys.
Good tip, thanks!
I'm loving this video!!! Will you please share what camera gear you use? Thank you!

@@the.vandersons Thank you!!
How do you all stay safe on these travels? Is it not as dangerous in Central and South America as some would like us to believe...? 🧐🤔🛡️🌱🌞🙋
I love watching these videos, this is what I want to do and accomplish. 💯
Reminds me of Spain, Civilian Guard ...

Hahaha! Thanks Stephanie. Maybe if Tom Cruise was half Spanish he'd be better looking :P
Aren't you worried about leaving your van unattended.....
Nope, we felt very safe here. We also got back to the van pretty early
