I love that so much of this is so meaningful!!!! When my parents moved a couple years ago a lot of their Christmas stuff got lost somehow. My mom had a huge Santa collection that we only have a few left of. This is our second Christmas without her. And it would be so amazing is we could put out her huge Santa collection and her amazing village collection, but there’s only a small part of each collection that was found after the move. It’s heartbreaking. Enjoy your wonderful, family pieces!!!!

I love everything. So festive, I especially love you have incorporated your grandmother's Spode China. When I got married 25 yrs ago I refused to register. I wanted my quests to enjoy our celebration not spending money. Friends and family talked me into registering so I wouldn't have to return gifts. I registered for Spode Christmas tree China and I love bringing it out. You have inspired me.
I bet your grandma is so excited that you love her things. I think a lot of grandmothers love their collections and want to pass them on but the grandkids or kids most often don't want them. Great idea on the centerpiece where you can see each other over the top. That is something I always keep in mind, especially because I'm short. Everything is so nice. You did a great job.

I have service for 12 and all the matching glasses, and dessert plates with coffee cups and cream & sugar bowls, all the matching platers and the 3 tier dessert plates. Gorgeous! I love that you took a theme that generally looks very “cute” and elevated it! When my son was very young, I always did a gingerbread/candy theme on the main tree in my living room, but I stopped doing it as he got older in favor of various other themes that evolved as my decor did (and as my now 120 lb chocolate lab became too large to safely use many of my prized but fragile ornaments😂). After seeing your dining room decor, I’m thinking it might be time to break out those ornaments again (in a space safe from my dog though🤣). I also love the Spode dinnerware - that has been my favorite Christmas pattern since I was 14 and spent the first Christmas with my former in laws, and I don’t know why I still haven’t bought it in the last 31 years!🎄

Gorgeous! I love that you took a theme that generally looks very “cute” and elevated it! When my son was very young, I always did a gingerbread/candy theme on the main tree in my living room, but I stopped doing it as he got older in favor of various other themes that evolved as my decor did (and as my now 120 lb chocolate lab became too large to safely use many of my prized but fragile ornaments😂). After seeing your dining room decor, I’m thinking it might be time to break out those ornaments again (in a space safe from my dog though🤣). I also love the Spode dinnerware - that has been my favorite Christmas pattern since I was 14 and spent the first Christmas with my former in laws, and I don’t know why I still haven’t bought it in the last 31 years!🎄

Just the thought brought me to tears! What were your grandmas favorite store to buy her Christmas decor? Gimbles and Macy’s were my moms I lost her this year and I have gone all out with red green and gold, too! ❤️
