Thank you so much for this feedback… gotta tell I am so grateful to have such kind comments on my reviews, it’s tough work but always good to know they are making a difference
If this is like the Neo Vista, it will be perfect for people like me who need a high volume upper. The upper on the Vista fits me so well. Mizuno are the masters of sock/boot like uppers as my Mizuno hockey shoes have them but much more structured and they are fantastically comfortable. Just need these Zens to get realeased in the UK and, as you say, with a dark colourway for our lovely winter.
Nice review. I got the mystery color way but I think I prefer the official release color better. The midsole actually looks like it is made and feels different from the mystery version 🤷🏽♂️ I bought TTS for my US size 12 and fits great.
This is exactly why I love our community, we are so different and yet the same. I prefer the secret shoe colour way for sure and the sizing was major flaw here. However… good to know we both equally love the shoe
I end up 👍ing all of your videos. But I hit the button on this one at the point where you wished “success in life” to all of your viewers. May you also have success in life.
@@EBoone503 need to add a few things to the walls but will take a while to do that’s for sure. Or should I paint it every time to match the shoes I’m reviewing 😂😂😂😂
God I need this to release in the UK already!! Bought the Wave Sky 8 and it's an amazingly comfertable long run shoe that just has me floating along! Mizuno might overtake Puma as my favourite shoe brand this year!
Hehehehe Mizuno is doing great and has some serious bangers in the works for sure. I also think Puma has done amazing. They made my favourite race day shoe of 2024, the deviate nitro elite 3
You literally didn’t have to do that at all but chose to, thank you so much it’s very kind of you and I wish you the exact same, an amazing 2025 full of successes and life
These 2 shoes will compete very closely because they are both not plated, they are both very affordable and both daily trainers. The key difference for me is the cushioning and softness of the midsole. The Neo zen offers much more cushioning.
You're actually one of the few bigger runners that likes this shoe. Do you think sizing is the same as Neo Vista? I stayed TTS in that shoe and I get a little bunching but I think 1/2 down might not give the little piggies enough breathing room. Also, I think Mizuno said this Enerzy NXT is supercritical TPU, whereas the the Neo Vista has some type of supercritical EVA. That might improve the long-term resilience. Then, we just have to wonder about outsole durability. I have about 240 miles on the Neo Vista and there is a lot of wear. The outsole feels great to run on because it's so soft but . . . trade-offs. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing. I saw your post rocking the Hobby Jogger hat and you're a great representative for Hobby Joggers: job, family, and not necessarily pushing 2:30 marathons and sub-0:35 10K. Sorry for TLDR; I'm a shoe nerd. :)
Thank you for that… great to have your perspective in the comments and cheers for the kind words at the end too. I have a few more videos on this and the Neo vista and other daily trainers
I actually think this shoe is perfect for the bigger runners. The cushioning here is perfect. A good balance and it certainly doesn’t zap all your energy.
Happy New year my man, I hope you, Jen and the kids had a good Xmas 🎅 Is the upper the same material as the Neo Vista? That was my biggest issue with that shoe as it just made my feet too hot. I like the look of the Zen, using my Evo SL's as my daily trainer at the mo, they are banging 😂 Pro 4's arrived yesterday as well, ooooooooh they are gooooood 😎
Ooohhhhhh all I heard in this comment is that the Pro 4s arrived yesterday and I love that!!!!! Just joking… yeah the family is good sir and we had a good time for sure. As for the upper here… yes they are the same as far as I can tell and I still think if you size these down Paul you might like them. Check them out
I have the neo vista and planning on getting the Zen. Are you recommending to go a half size down? I find the vista snug from midfoot to toe(length is perfect) and heel not that secure. Thanks.
Let me say that this is extremely personal to everyone. If the Vista is snug then maybe go with your normal size in the Zen. Otherwise for me, I definitely needed to go a half size down
j'adore les Néo Vista malgré leur instabilité (ça fait travailler mes chevilles comme ça). Je prendrai les Rebellion Pro quand mes saucony seront usées
@@AubreyRunning for me sizing was perfect in my US men's 9. I will say its been cold here so have only worn it with merino to merino light socks so far.
Think this shoe is ok for a slower type runner or a recovery type shoe as a daily I think far to soft with little to no energy return.personally the neo vista I think is a much better shoe the foam is just to soft but I can see for a bigger runner the attraction it would have ....I'm 57kg wet 😂😂😂 so it just wouldn't work for me..... I like how mizuno are enterering the space but need to be careful if this is going to be there premium foam......
Fair assessment and I love how all these shoes are highly personal to us all. Indefinitely still prefer the Vista but this is definitely an amazing at £130
Yes I do! Strongly recommended. Also will depends on the type of runner you are. If you are a faster and more experienced runner, I’d recommend getting a different shoe for speed work. This is perfect for your easy, long runs and if you’re my kind of pace then this would do all the paces.
Love your reviews for the Hoka cielo x1 and ran a 45 10k today in them 6min faster than last pb

I haven't tried any Mizuno shoes, but I'm intrigued. They look great!
Definitely give this or Neo vista a go. Just try them and return them if you don’t like it. The comfort in these shoes is what does it to me

I love the new setup! it matches the shoes almost perfectly! LOL

@ haahah. YEA! put them kids to WYUCK and have them paint it every single show review. 😝😝😝
will be my favourite all time shoes..bouncy,breathable..good for long run
You simply can’t fault the shoe when sizing is right! The comfort is like no other
Thank you for this video. Just got the shoe and haven't sized it yet.

Absolutely, I also particularly love the black and white colour way but not sure that that will be released
I know some people are on the fence with the mystery colorway but personally I think its 🔥👌🏼
It’s easily the best one! Easily!!!

Love the secret colourway unfortunately I doubt itll be available in the UK. Love my Neo Vistas I have two pairs
Yeah that’s what I think too… it won’t be sold here but I don’t know! It’s their best colourway I think
Sounds like a good alternative to the Novablast:)
Definitely better than the Novablast in my opinion
Nice review Aubrey! The neo zen looks like an interesting choice for daily trainer. Are they similar to the novablast 5?

would just love to know when its actually releasing
7th January
Should've been the 7th but they're delayed in customs until the 20th sadly
When's it available in the UK ?
Especially in the secret shoe colour as running warehouse can't send to the uk
It will be available January 7
Great review as always!

6:36 True!
My 5k PB is still in a NB 860v13 :D
And i own much faster shoes like the Cielo Road.

How does it compare to the wave rider?
I wish I could say but I have never ran in the wave rider. I’d be lying if I commented on that
Was that the London ten?
It was indeed
