Just because he can “process reads” and has a “good arm”? If people ever watched a Michigan game, this dude is hella inaccurate and inconsistent.
The draft is also like drafting someone in 1st grade. It’s everyone’s best guess as to how well you will developed. The draft is about the completed product not who a player is now.
I don't want McCarthy BUT, what I do want is for YOU to tell us which top qb YOU would pick and realistically how do we get him???
There are several players on this team who could be good, but you can't trust them. You'd be crazy to count on Caden Sterns, Dulcich, and Timmy P at this point.

Happens every year folks. Qb’s get hyped into an oblivion but how often do they step in and truly be a franchise QB? Just build the roster and find that QB that fits the scheme.

Broncos should trade back pick 12 to Carolina for picks 33 and 39. I think you can get a QB and another starter with those 2 picks. Lots of WR and CB's in this class with good quality tangibles. Use the higher picks in the trenches other than QB. If a OT or DT falls to 76, or if you can trade back 76 for an 88 + a 103 I would do that because there are going to be value picks in this range.

All this QB hype is sending very good generational talents in other spots down the draft order. Marvin Harrison, Joe Alt, Rome Odunze, Brock Bowers etc. This is ridiculous. I expect some teams inside top 10 will come to senses and pick the BPA. Denver should just wait at #12 and pick JJ if he is still there. If he isn't, just go get Brock Bowers. Also if JJ is picked inside top 10, then there is no way a team will pick Nix or Penix in day 1. So Denver should focus on getting a round 2 pick by trading up from later rounds, instead of messing with round 1.
I like Nix or Pratt from Tulane. Nix end of 1st round or Tulane late 2nd round or even early 3rd round.
I would rather have Nix or Penix at 12

The problem is that the Giants and even the Raiders are interested in picking a QB. We have no idea where, but it could be with JJ McCarthy or Bo Nix. Heck, even Penix is an option too.

I don't trust JJ. I could be wrong, but I just don't see it. His team was stacked, and you just didn't see the monster numbers you'd hope to see for a kid that had so much help around him. I'd much rather trade back up into the 2nd and get Nix.
Petey you know that ANY team that can run for 300 yards would. All NFL teams would love to have 300 plus yards.
All signs point to the Vikings or Giants landing him. Even if he fell, why do we think Payton would even draft him?
I'm not sold that Sean Payton is happy with Forsythe and Wattenberg (Mustipher is just a body at this point). Sean Payton historically has built up the interior of the line. He puts a premium there.
Stand pat at #12 and draft either JJ or Bo.

Adding a corner at 12 is the dumbest pick. If they do that the fans will go crazy. Just think back, Champ Bailey was one of the top corners in the league. You will not win a championship or even come close with 2 great corners. They can not dominate a defense.
I hope this does actually happen, and we get JJ. Now, I really understand the realities of the draft, and the questionable motivations behind it, but....
lmao 2 months ago mccarthey was said to be a 2nd round pick at best when he was snapping the ball.
