I had to chuckle when I saw you pick up the miracle “blade because” I have had a set of those for 25 years now they work so good and if I break one or anything happens to one they are still replacing them for free. they were a wedding gift and they are as good now as they were the day we got them ha ha ha
You are so different to other pickers that I watch. I can usually tell what they are going to buy but with you you never know lol. It’s always such an eclectic mix lol.
Ended up at an estate sale like that once. The family started fighting end up everyone being told to leave. Went by later that evening and tons of the stuff was tossed in a big trash bin. Ended up picking $1000's of dollars worth of stuff. and money hide in many of the items. i gave all the money and some of my profit to the daughter because knew she was a single Mom and was suffering from MS.
Big fan of that estate sale company. They always seem to be willing to work with you and have yet to find where they overprice items like other estate sale companies.
I was thinking the wife took the kids and left him🤷🏼♀️ what other reason would a kids closet be left full of clothes even in a foreclosure you grab your clothes but Idk very strange for sure.
Sometimes, it's hard to run a sale when a loved one just passed or is in the hospital suffering from a terminal illness. That's what the man was saying in the last video. I would have just walked out because it seemed very upsetting to him. But you previous finds looked epic.
It's wild how ppl see different things! I like Dave a LOT...I find he's very caring and interested chatting to the sellers at each sale. I think he spends a LOT of time with his children and doing things for and with them! I've never noticed him being rude to Tina. He seems to support her finding make up sales & even when she's not with him, he inquires if they have any so he can pick it up for her! I get a kick out of his mom. There's times her tone can sound a little gruff but think of her age. She's cute!
This is a request for greater self-awareness. At the first sale, you left the vintage(?) DISNEY clown shared by Tina valued at $35. (When in doubt, price it out.) However, you purchased a bag of small plushies and an Atari device instead. The potential return on the electronic was $16. Perhaps it was for a game you bought. At the 2nd sale, you passed on an ornate "Fancy Nancy" purse without investigating its possible profit at the time. Please trust Tina's instincts and judgment. She offers a female perspective with a fresh outlook. She notices things that you overlook. You're a team. Later, in the video, you fairly asked Tina about an item's unknown cost. Then, you questioned its selling price. Does she behave the same way? Please validate her intellect, keen eye, and selections. She often, humbly, asks your opinion and respects it. Reciprocate and empower her confidence. Ultimately, it's a winning sourcing plan for your family. (P.S., I was also impressed with the military action figure and the Strawberry Shortcake dress. Despite their flaws, their uniqueness was special. You bought the military sweatshirt without any listed comps. Remember, "The road goes both ways" when reselling.
Keep in mind that Dave supports his family of 5 on his social media income alone. His reselling business is all gravy. Let that sink in. Dave does just fine. LOL
Seems to me everything was for sale but he really didn't want to sell it. Not sure if it was possible his mother or wife stuff and they had passed away. He was way too emotional.
One of my biggest pet peeve...stop digging through other peoples stuff like a bull in a china shop. People just toss stuff around it makes me mad. It is not your stuff till u buy it. Show more respect.
It’s a trait that he has! Tosses things unwanted with no thought! Or… he’ll try to low ball everyone, especially the elderly! Most of the stuff he picks up is garbage!

That was strange all right. Your daughter is so sweet! We really enjoy your videos, Dave!
I knew he was leaving with the clubs. I expected him to offer $25. lol. And quickly cover the Callaway.
Yes it was weird and you got awesome stuff

I just sold that top Harry Potter game NIB for $140. And that vintage GS uniform, blouse and sash for $37
Looked like a Sentimental Estate Sale.

Love you guys out snd about, well like Tina out and about lol only joking Dave big love from Scotland ❤
I think you could make a little more noise as Tina was talking about makeup. lol.
Purely speculation here but I think maybe his house was in foreclosure. 😢
Who is her cousin from the giants? My hometown!
Love it when your wife and/or mom goes with you to the yard sales.
I cant stand it, him patronising his wife, talking for her, belittling her in front of others. His mum is also rude.

@@socalogp7296I agree! He is doing great by what I have seen.
@@socalogp7296but her points were all valid!

That first garage sale, you missed the Tyco Mutator RC car. Over $100 in working condition, still good money just for parts.
He was a catcher for the giants? MLB or nfl?
Giants are Baseball.
What's an NFL catcher?
@ wide receiver
@JonSmith-rq3de That would be a wide receiver, not a catcher. Tight ends, running backs, fullbacks, and even offensive lineman catch the ball.
You are drawn to the strangest stuff. You reach over dollars to pick up pennies
Hey Oh!!!
Bombay & Co. sold really nice furniture and other home furnishings
❤❤❤
Or any baby clothes

We used to fill our bags, then dump them in a garbage bag in the car and go back for more! Those bags got a workout! 😂
Poor guy was stressed out.
