Angel Reese and Catlin Clark are literally the female versions of Magic and Bird 😭 so many people watched the play 🔥 Angel Reese has a amazing future ahead of her 💯
Angel Reese made me watch Women’s basketball! Never did I ever watch it! Being a native of Louisiana I wanted to see my home team prosper and glad they did it! Well deserved ! ❤
As someone who only started watching women’s basketball about 2 years ago, it’s bittersweet that this moment is what’s bringing attention to the women’s game. There’s so many talented players who are just incredible to watch (Aliyah Boston, Olivia Miles, Cam Brink, Angel Baker etc) I mean look at what Dawn Staley has been building over at South Carolina. These girls are competitive, they play with heart and deserve attention all season not just during big games. I’m happy for LSU and it’s nice to see Angel share more of her story. I hope more people will continue to watch, support and uplift women’s basketball both college & wnba.
It's a double edge sword. I'm not a fan of women's basketball, but anything they can do to bring light to their sport I say do it. If it takes a somewhat difficult story to do that then so be it. Mens' sports went through the same thing when the color barrier was broken. As the experts in marketing say, there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Same. I randomly watched a South Carolina game Aaliyah Boston's junior year & was like they're actually good. I've watched every game since. I'm genuinely interested in girls college basketball now.

I’m impressed by her wisdom and poise at the age of 20. Dope interview and good job with the questions. B Marsh does a great job of asking things from an athletes perspective. I enjoyed this!
No one cares about women’s basketball. People were only checking it out because Clarke is a generational player. Without her, no one would have been interested in the women’s final four games to begin with. No one is currently interested in the WNBA, where there are players like Britney Griner, who is multiple levels beyond this girl; and she can dunk, too. Scores more, rebounds more; no one cares. She was locked up in Russia for half a year, even. Still no one cares. The reason she was in Russia was because she can’t make enough money playing in the WNBA alone. Clarke made more than a million from her NIL deal last year. As far as I know, that’s more than any WNBA player. But people will tune into someone who can consistently drain 35-40 footers like Steph Curry. That girl is a star.
She's putting irrational, angry , vindictive, immature, unsportsmanlike antics on the map. Nothing more. She's made the win and her teammates irrelevant. Her comments have no value. Check the stats. Using race to justify her antics. This isn't a race thing. It's a choice thing. Reese chose to act like a fool.

Shoutout to Ashley, GREAT questions and great understanding of the entire situation. Also, shoutout to Brandon for siting back and listening too. Angel is a boss and I'm glad she has a good support system around her. Sad that a standard trash talk got spun into something evil. Neither one of them flipped someone off or cursed someone out, just did a hand gesture. The futures for both Angel and Caitlin are gonna be bright!
This situation gives me a slight look into what it might have been back with magic Johnson and Larry bird.. on a lesser scale of course but those two dynamics on the court and off the court played into they rivalry. Magic was seen as talented while charismatic with a big personality while bird was seen as the greatest player/talent and just honestly the great white hope.
If "you started it, I'mma finish it" was a person. You might think her taunt was over the top, but the way she uncovered the snakes in the grass was pretty incredible. On top of this, after hearing her speak in long form, I'm really impressed by her. Shout to this champion!
@@trfrazi lol she got in foul trouble and Carson came off the bench and was the leading scorer😂 Reese playing the victim card saying she felt disrespected when she was doing the “too small”, pointing to her ring finger, she even got a marker and drew a ring on her finger…the pettiness Reese has is unreal
@Tyler S not unreal at and clearly it's what the game needed cuz you are watching her interviews which is weird if you claim she was never in the game why still tune in?? Caitlin getting in foul trouble ain't reese fault and Carson coming off the bench and scoring is what she supposed to do and when she made her pts she rain straight to reese cause she uplifts them all the time. Caitlin coach even shook her head is discussed that allowed lsu to get in her head 🤣🤣
The problem is too many people live vicariously through sports who never played on any true competitive level. I totally enjoyed your interview with Angel Reese and I hope we as a country can someday get pass the color issue and just see each other as human beings. The gesture Angel did is common in sports for those who have played any sport, only those non- athletic or prejudice people have a problem with it. I don’t think Angel meant any thing malicious with her gesture. I would like to wish the young-lady much success in the future.
The women's college game is so much more entertaining than the men. The rivalries, personalities, skill level, coaches, everybody is thinking about all the future matchup possibilities and the tournament once again delivered! Congratulations LSU and Angel and an additional shoutout to Ladazhia Williams for a phenomenal tournament!
@Gary Augustus definitely, the men's side is so generic, I really don't find any compelling teams or players this year. Name me five men players I should care about? Who was player of the year? The only guy who will shake up the draft is in France.

I hope someone in Angel’s corner lets her know - there is a huge bag to be had after this drama dies down. This whole interview was outstanding. I had a proud smile on my face the whole time and it was such an informative interview, I learned a lot. Congratulations AR🎉❤
What a gem of a person. Keep going sis
I’m impressed by her wisdom and poise at the age of 20. Dope interview and good job with the questions. B
Marsh does a great job of asking things from an athletes perspective. I enjoyed this!
Bruh said wisdom 😭😭😭😭😭😭
poise?

She is putting the women's college basketball on the map.. I salute her and her teams success..
Nah Caitlyn Clark put womens basketball on the map. No one cared til we heard one of em had curry range.
Calm down
She's putting irrational, angry , vindictive, immature, unsportsmanlike antics on the map.
Nothing more. She's made the win and her teammates irrelevant. Her comments have no value. Check the stats. Using race to justify her antics. This isn't a race thing. It's a choice thing. Reese chose to act like a fool.
@@georgie5986 No they are irrelevant to hills have eyes inbred people everyone else is happy, lsu dominated them and some whites can’t phucking handle it… like it’s new… whites tried to pull a reverse Glory road and got the door shut in their face😢😭😂😂 CC should take tips from Reese celebrate and taunt after you complete the mission and you won’t end up crying like a child on national tv after acting like you where hot shyt…
Congratulations LSU AND angel Reese. Big ups and nuff respect
We are celebrating our black sistas!
Brandon is always one step ahead. Having Ashley as a cohost made this episode a billion times better.
What a wonderful interview! Angel, I was most blessed by your statements regarding getting closer to God, praying more, daily devotionals and going to church more. Stay authentic, grounded and think before you speak. You're inspirational and mature! Thanks for coming to LSU.
What she finished? She was not even a factor on the game lmao
@Max MX if you ever played on a team then you'd know just ur presence and energy is enough. Thats why there's coaches dumb dumb 😂😂
@@trfrazi Her presence? Lmao. So you mean a cheerleader can make a team win a championship? Lmao
The problem is too many people live vicariously through sports who never played on any true competitive level. It’s like a boxer who goes 12 rounds and leaves respecting the opponent ‼️trash talk is part of the game and once the buzzer sounds that’s where we leave it, it’s love at the end of the day 💜 congrats to LSU
Angel Reese is my favorite person right now! The future is bright for her. Not just in basketball but she will be a voice and a role model for little black girls!!
I'm just so proud of her... Words can't explain it! This is a huge year for womens sports.
Applause to the Paper Route and I Am Athlete for this riveting and much needed conversation👏🏽👏🏽 Great questions Brandon and Ashley. Thank you Angel for standing up unapologetically and shining light on these issues of woman’s basketball and the world 🙌🏽
Fake news
Wait.. wym fake news
With these people, don't hold your breath.
Well said no malice intended
much love to you and lay!!❤
Sad to say it's still a racist word
I didn’t know her until Friday morning. I saw her dancing and then decided to root for LSU. I’m a fan.
Ahem.....you're serious, aren't you?
Delusional exactly why women sports is down casted cause everything little thing is over exaggerated
@Gary Augustus definitely, the men's side is so generic, I really don't find any compelling teams or players this year. Name me five men players I should care about? Who was player of the year? The only guy who will shake up the draft is in France.
Ppl Saying That Angel Ain’t Do Nothing Are You Guys Off Coke Or Crack ? She’s Had A Double Double Every Game Of The Tournament & Won It All Wtf 😂😂😂‼️
💯
So talented, beautiful, and classy, I love her and she makes women's basketball better. I hope she continues her greatness and wins again next year.
Ghetto
How the hell is she classy?
I don’t know about classy. Celebrating in someone’s face at the end of a game is pretty classless.
@@TheEconomicExpert You had no problem when Clark did it so why complain when Reese does it? You racists are only upset because the great white hope got a taste of her own medicine.
@@TheEconomicExpert I agree
This is a great interview. Love Brandon and Ashley’s interview style and Angel is a great guest to have especially coming off the national championship win
👏👏👏 she handled this interview like a true champion 🏆 congrats to her and Lsu
I hope Angel Reese can become the Wilt Chamberlain of WNBA
A proud LSU fan stay strong and motivated the world is your playground Angel Reese
I hope someone in Angel’s corner lets her know - there is a huge bag to be had after this drama dies down. She needs to get Caitlin and one of those ad execs from one of these major sports companies on a zoom chat and start a campaign for the off season following her and Caitlin getting ready for next season. The campaign can be called “ You can’t see me season 2” and Iowa and LSU can be the opening season game on prime time tv at a neutral site. Now that these kids can get NIL deals both Reese and Caitlin stand to make a huge amount of money!
I like this idea 💯
Dam that's a great idea
bird vs magic
“You can’t see me season 2” is corny But The overall idea is Good
Bird and Magic part 2.
Congratulations Angel! You are a strong, supremely talented, beautiful athlete. Enjoy your success!
Like it was said Kudos to B Marshall and the team for this well done interview. Love to hear these types of conversations!!
I wish Angel and the LSU ladies continued success. Dispose of all negative energy that comes your way ladies and soar…
I say to Miss Angel Reese, continue to be unapologetic because you are phenomally unapologetically sound and talented and unreasonably beautiful and black! You are history already!❤ Much luv much props to you in your success!
