Nice finds and always a pleasure to catch your videos. There are not many women out there doing RUclips videos, especially in the field of storage lockers! So don’t stop posting! But I do have something to ask, you did not put the low end clothing in the garbage, right ??? Because I am sure that you know that shelters for abused women and children usually are very thankful for donations of cloths that are in good shape, even if they are low end like Old Navy etc… even those hangers you threw in the trash are valuable for places that are selling pre owned cloths, but not the national brands, the small local ones. I know that all this takes time and effort and hearing that you are having health issues and will be off your feet for awhile, this might not have been possible, but I just had to ask. Know that this is not a negative comment, it’s a question. Because I really do love watching your videos!
The lower end clothing always gets donated. I never donate heavily used undergarments (bras). You saw those get binned in this video. The shorts unfortunately had significant staining in the crotch area, which, of course, I don't show on video. Oftentimes, there are things not disclosed in my videos that make items not suitable for donation. I don't go into specifics, but early on in my video, you can hear me mention the chemical smell. Many different situations are found when emptying units (drugs, rodents, bed bugs, bodily fluids), and if I see that at all, I do not pass those items onto unsuspecting people. Some things can be cleaned and sanitized, but not all. Out of respect for the previous owner, the last thing I'm going to do it out them for their personal habits for others to see and judge. It's hard enough to go through losing your items like this and I don't want to inflict further injury. It's a very fine balance when it comes to disposal. I donate so much to my community and repurpose many things. I do work directly with a few shelters (I'm not a fan of Goodwill or other corporate centers). What I do is an absolute labor of love. I know I have touched many lives and will continue to pass on what I can with public safety in mind. I'm new to sharing what I do, so perhaps all aspects should be shown to get the full picture! That is something I may explore in the future. I absolutely appreciate your question. It gives me the chance to explain the entire process!
Stay well hope to see you back soon
Where do you sell your product at? Do you have an eBay account? Sincerely, Chuck.
