Of course they would. It's called "reaction ratings". They hide behind the "freedom of the press" but what they really do is just stir up emotions and divide. And then get all offended when you tell them they as much as the problem and anything else.

using force, even lethal force, if necessary to protect the personal and property rights of peaceful citizens against rioters and looters, is a good and right thing to do. Using ANY force against peaceful protesters is a violation of the US Constitution.
Just because they got away, free of consequences, at Kent State and Lafayette Square, etc, does not mean it will always end with a military victory over unarmed, non-violent protesters. They are playing with matches in a barn full of hay.

I have a problem with NG being activated by Pentagon for anything to do with state side policing.
The Pentagon Federal and as such when activating a National Guard Unit is placing them on active status! Using active military for policing on our own soil is not supposed to be done. Activation of NG by a Governor is how that is supposed to work for protection within that state!
