LISTEN UP-- these reviews WORK. I got a 5 thanks to them!!! I had a C testing average in class, and got 2 low B's each semester. On 1.5x speed these videos will take you 7 hours to get through....or the 2 weeks leading up to the exam, I used these videos. For one week I would watch an hour's worth of them a day, and take brief noes on important details me mentioned. The next week I would skim my notes and watch the videos on 2x speed (45 minutes worth each day). The repetition and notes will help drill it into your brain. Trust me it was worth it, the test was a piece of cake!

I tried just taking an LEQ and googling everything and it didn't turn out well because its hard to grasp all the little key concepts that makes history so complex in like 15 minutes of research so id still watch these vids and take notes or take pics of each slide
Just wanted to say thank you Mr. Jocz for your extremely helpful videos. I watched them as I went through the chapters in my textbook and ended up scoring a 5 on the AP exam last May as well as a 95+ on each chapter test we had in class. To all students who want to maximize their scores, make sure to watch these videos because they truly do make a huge difference!
For anyone studying for APUSH, I used his videos all last year and they made it much easier to understand the content and was a great review for the test! I fortunately got a 4!!!
When the APUSH test is in two weeks and you laugh at all of the desperate people from a year ago.... and then you realize you're one of those people until the exam is over.
so it takes 10 hours and 55 minutes to watch all of his videos *BUT only 7 hours and 16 minutes to watch them on 1.5x speed* *AND ONLY 5 hours and 27 minutes to watch them on 2x speed* so get to it

With the help of your videos, my journey throughout APUSH much smoother, and I was able to easily grasp information. For those who are starting APUSH, just know that I lived off of these videos and got a 5. Weeks before the exam, as a way to summarize everything that I've learned, I've rewatched these videos countless times to retain important ideas and trends. Incoming Apush-ers don't worry about the test I got a 5 just from watching these videos and taking a few notes. I didn't even read American Pageant because I felt like it had a lot of unnecessary material. These vids do a good job of highlighting the concepts that are relevant.

So I came back here 6 months after taking my APUSH exam because I don't think I've truly thanked joczproductions for 1. helping me pass my class and 2. helping me get a 4 on the AP. I had a shitty as fuck teacher. He was a cool guy, but I learned absolutely nothing. Add that to the fact that my school is filled with annoying know it alls, you bet that I blocked everything out in that class. I found jocz late in the year, when I just could not read my boring textbook anymore because I was not retaining anything. All my tests where I've studied the jocz's videos I got As on and throughly understood what I was learning about. Now, fast forward to a month before the AP, maybe 3 weeks. Since I found jocz so late in the year, I really only understood half of the history I was supposed to know. I studied my ass off, watching one jocz video a day, sometimes 3 and taking notes on his lectures. And before you know it, jocz had taught me the entire curriculum in a month!! Like I said, I got a 4 and it's all thanks to him (: If you're just starting out with jocz, please continue! He's an excellent teacher and I am forever grateful that he has taken time out of his days to make such informational and entertaining lectures. Much love
