Sometimes I think you guys are talking about a different game when I listen to these. Don't get me wrong, I love this podcast and all the info that it provides! But when I play against swoops and shootthem with a full dice pool, they sometimes only take 2 wounds because they have dodge tokens thanks to independent dodge and emergency transponder.
I feel the same way man, but it's also really meta dependent. I believe their crew has a strong abundance of clone players in their locals. Their massive dice pools (from fire support) would definitely wipe bikes if not played carefully. I've been playing blizzard force for the past few months and usually only start losing models around turn 3 or 4. I do notice most people are extremely aggressive with bikes and they will be wiped by turn 2.
@@levitygames1529 that's true, but that wasn't really what I was talking referring to. They talk about having huge success with a full ARC squad shot, or a Cody shooting with a phase 2 Z-6, but all their reported results seem way higher than mine whenever I do the exact same thing. I'm usually only getting 5 hits consistently with full ARCs, while they would probably say that you're getting 7-9 on average. I recently tried out Z-6s with BARCs to see if I could get some good fire-support combos, and on my first fire-supported shot I only got 5 hits. For the rest of the game, I never got above 9 while doing that same combo, and I did it at least 2-3 more times. Super underwhelming.

They really do have a totally different meta than my locals. It's too listen to how other people experience units though.
