holy fuck , i was searching for this game forever. this was one of those games where you played as a kid and have flashbacks of it but dont know what game it was. when i seen that warehouse/port thing, i immediately got nostalgic and happy that i found this game

EXACTLY SAME HERE, except i had this with the Anno 1602 - I only remembered that you picked one of the flags on walls in some castle and that later you played with ships.

@@WeirdTannya I got so irritated and obsessed with searching these games that sometimes I literally would go look through ALL games made in every year. For example all games made in 2001 and become engulfed by the rabbit hole
There’s another one where you get lost on an island after a plane crash and have to survive by using different survivors. Setting them to different activities would level up their skills and your ultimate goal was to leave the island. Can’t remember the game but i played it as a kid and think about it a couple times a year. Probably came out in the 90s

Yaaay 1503!!! I totally agree with your statement at the end. For me, 1602 was basically a gateway drug and this game took over my life lol
This was my childhood. the intro of the game really hooked me. me being a young kid who likes to go on an adventure and start a city lol
all i want is a re-release of this game, with extremly larger maps, and more and better AI. everything else can be the same.
Modern Anno's just don't do it for me.
Anno 1503 : the artstyle and music set it apart so well . Also the game runs fine on almost any old brick pc :) . Great memories
Just got this on gog today, i jave no idea how to play it and it works deff then any other anno games, so im watching this to learn some few tricks
theres a bug in the game since it first came out back in 2002 that the seaguls will pile up over your markets. you have to click on it for them to go away

1602 was one of my favorite RTS's of all time. 1404 was okay, but not as good.

Just a hint.. If you still suffer the minus in your treasury just build lots of houses until your finances say about +100 or +200. This will help your economy to rose.

Do you need a mouse to get the ships to go where you want them to go? My trackpad doesn't seem to work with that.
This games was so beautiful for me and not wasting too much Ram then the 3d ..
History version remove building boundary marker? It was very useful to know what’s their work range
Super dumb question, how do I actually move my starting ship to my starting island? I've only ever played more modern Anno, and I just use WASD I think. ( An operation couple of years ago messed with my brain/memory/cognitive functions...so it's taking me longer to relearn all my games).

The building entrace is confusing. I connect road to my woodcutter but it appear that one entrace is not the right one...i had to make one tile of road beside that....and usually after placing road there will be sound that road has been built on 1602. here there is none. make me hard to see if road already created or not and if it is connected or not to the warehouse.....
Just played a round of Anno 1503. I forgot how little these older games explain to the player and how many options are just unlabeled buttons where you have to guess what you're doing.
Anyway, I now have a few settlers and everything seemed fine.... but now some of the people's houses just break apart without a fire or some sort or explanation. What am I doing wrong?
The settelers are not happy, did you put down food stals?

The Campaign name is Nova Fora is that latin or something because in Serbien language that means in rough transltion New joke or punch line.I played the Campaign but i only barely past the first mission for an oldy game its pretty hard Anno 1800 is way easier.
I have no idea haha... and yeah 1602 and 1503 are a lot more difficult to manage after you play 1800 with the wealth of information it gives you. It's a very "figure it out yourself" kinda thing!
@@TakaRUclips Yeah i when i said about Nova fora i realy mean it to me it sounds like that because i m a Serb i still think to me the best Anno is Anno 1404.
I always seek for players to play with. You guys are here but not exist in the game. I wish i play this game with real players.

1800 and 1503 the best for me, but i play 1602 in 2006 my first game of this type.
