Hi Tutor, thank you for a very informative Logic Gate lecture. The reason I looked at your site was a remark I heard from a lecture on the Computer used on the Apollo 11 Moon Landing that used only 3 input NOR Gates to to construct all other Logic Gates required. Just wondering if you could show how different logic functions could be configured from 3 input NORs?

      How to make a keystone?

    • @niwex-gs8hh
      @niwex-gs8hh Год назад +3

      @@mikrofala9456
To make a keystone, you will need the following materials and tools:
      Materials:
      Block of stone or concrete
      Chisel
      Hammer
      Sandpaper or a file
      Measuring tape or ruler
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to make a keystone:
Determine the size and shape of the keystone you want to create. Measure the width, height, and depth of the keystone you need. Typically, a keystone has a tapered shape with a wider front face and narrower back face.
Select a suitable block of stone or concrete. The material should be sturdy and durable. You can find stone blocks at a local quarry or purchase precast concrete blocks from a hardware store.
Mark the dimensions of the keystone on the block of stone using a pencil or marker. Use the measuring tape or ruler to ensure accurate measurements.
With the chisel and hammer, carefully start chiseling along the marked lines. Begin by creating a rough outline of the keystone shape. Make sure to wear safety goggles and gloves for protection.
Once you have a rough outline, continue chiseling and shaping the stone, gradually removing excess material. Take your time and work slowly, using light taps with the hammer. Check the dimensions periodically to ensure you are achieving the desired shape.
After achieving the basic shape, use the chisel and hammer to refine the edges and create the desired taper. Pay attention to the front face, as it should be wider and more decorative than the back face.
Once you are satisfied with the shape, use sandpaper or a file to smooth the surfaces and edges of the keystone. Start with a coarse grit sandpaper to remove any rough spots, and then move to a finer grit for a smoother finish.
Finally, clean the keystone to remove any dust or debris. You can use water and a soft cloth to wipe the surface clean.
It's worth noting that creating a keystone from scratch can be a challenging task that requires skill and precision. If you're not confident in your abilities, it may be advisable to seek assistance from a professional stone mason or consider purchasing a pre-made keystone.
