I picked up a Blue Snowball Ice from Walmart for 49 dollars, then watched this review and the one covering the Snowball. Went back immediately, returned the Blue, and picked up this JLab for the exact same price. Not only does the JLab feel considerably better construction wise, but the extra features alone make it worth the cost. Not to mention I would argue it sounds a lot better. Great videos!
I agree when he switched to the JBL microphone is the video sounded much better I feel like I would be able to use that in one of my videos I ordered one today well yesterday it should be here around Saturday
thank you for this video! I already bought this mic as I needed one quickly and this was the only one in my local office store. I've been trying to use the cardoid mode and have found that my audio has been absolutely BUTCHERED in my recordings, but I've been hesitant to try the omni mode and ruin more recordings further. Now I feel more confident in testing it! And also, I now know what that headphone jack is for, that's a super useful feature I wish I'd known about sooner!
I dont understand why you only have 160 views, this video needs more since there are more people getting into streaming and podcast. Thank you for the extremely elaborated video, now i can decide which microphone I can get without sounding like im drowning underwater, yes my brother has told me my current mic sounds like that. Sorry I don't know much about microphones and probably somewhere in the info you provided you mentioned this but I was wondering how well it handles background noise. Such as wind blowing into it from any angle or being in a room where noises constantly occur. I desperately need a new microphone and this one keeps popping up so I'm looking into it
It not you it’s him. Unfortunately he is one those “I don’t need to read the instructions for a review because I know everything types”. Really annoying. He has the microphone positioned all wrong. It is the exact opposite of what it should be. The top should be (leaning) furthest away with the bottom closest to him. That’s why the poor sound quality in cardioid.

You had the microphone in the wrong position and it was supposed to be tilted away from you, not with the top facing you. it also shows this on the instructions...
bro this microphone good i had it for 3 years it still works perfectly i recnetly was going to upgrade and buyed a 154 dallor microphone. honestly this mic sound better than the expensive one i buyed 3 days ago........bruh this 38 dallor mic i buyd beat the 154 one.............

I think the mic waited u to face it on the logo side, onde the cardioid mode.
that's right on cardiod mode, you should be facing tye logo on the mic stick for the best performance.

I guess you didn't even bother to read the 1-page manual. The position of your microphone is backward. You should talk from the light direction.
